ASUS – RT-BE58 Go BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Travel Router – White

Great travel router doubling as AP node - This unit is amazing. Used for most recent travel, coverage is good for a hotel room, but don’t expect it to get WiFi for the entire house. Unit comes with a switch to toggle travel vs AP mode. Speeds are good and haven’t experienced any issues with disconnects. When not traveling unit acts as a wireless AP node with my ASUS network infrastructure at home.

Fantastic for college use - If you are a college student and planning to be in a dorm this router is a must have. I use it to power my entire smart home setup that I brought with me to college. Setup is super simple within the ASUS Router app (literally all you do is connect the router to the campus network) and boom you are set up. It's also super nice because now I can use my TV for features like Airplay and screen mirroring. If you are tech savvy or just want an extra layer of privacy, GET THIS!!!

Great little device - Difficult to set up and get running correctly, but once set up it quietly does a great job. I chose this one for the amount of smart devices that you can connect to it compared to its competitors. Lastly it doesn’t scream router so I don’t feel like I need to hide it.

Works for slime vr - I bought this too reduce the latency of my slime vr trackers did wonders would recommend to other slime vr users

Amazing range in WiFi and speed - Amazing speed and WiFi range and connectivity and amazing portability

Great travel router - Compact, fast, and very convenient when traveling. Setup was easy and the connection has been reliable. A great option for staying connected away from home.

Fills a void - Very happy with this product and its versatility. Tested it as an extender, as a WISP booster, and tethered to my phone for WiFi and seems to work as described. Plan to use on upcoming camping trip to enhance campground WiFi and generally for added security when traveling. Seems the main negative feedback I've seen on this is the reboot process that is required when changing modes or configurations. It's an extremely minor issue and honestly think like much technology, not a nad idea to reboot and come up clean when making changes. For my purpose, the minute or two to reboot is insignificant.

Asus travel router - Excellent little router for travel. It'll connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, let you auth through the captive portal. I have mine using fusion to connect to my home LAN. I have gone LAN access on the road and Wi-Fi device security. Perfect

Best Purchase For Safety - Used this at multiple hotels without issues making alour trips soo much easier and accessible

Works well, but.... - First said, I'm pretty tech savvy. This had good reviews online so I went with it. The main problem was setting it up and getting it running. After many tries I finally got it to function. If you're not patient this definitely is not for you.

Works great - Wisp and vpn fusion small portable fast security. Its a good deal

Solid Performance - Good Price - I purchased this router to use at my apartment complex - which provided internet as part of the rent package (amazing, btw). I did have some issues initially setting up the router, best advice: connect your computer to configure! Otherwise, it's been solid. Definitely recommend this if you're looking for reliable performance and a good price.

Student Wifi Solver - Works perfect for what we needed. My husband works for a student housing complex, so we live on site and have to use the provided wifi, that means that smart bulbs, our smart litter box ect. have issues connecting because you have to be able to log into the wifi on the device itself and with a medical needs cat, we needed our smartlitter box to work. With the travel router, we are able to connect it to the wifi and treat the router as a bridge to the wifi.

Works - It works for what it’s made for but for simplicity it is a bit frustrating changing networks. I would have to hunt around the app to find the menu to change the source WiFi. If you’re moving around a lot where you need to change your source network, you may want to reconsider. Gli just put out a nice one with dual sim capabilities at more than 3x the cost that I would choose over this but at the time I needed a new travel router.

Very complicated to use. Dont understand the toggle side switch in the manual it isn’t the way it’s described. Takes way too long to try to set up. Tried using it to tether off my phone hotspot and never worked. Guy in a YouTube video made it seem seamless he even hooked it up in a car while on a trip. For me. I tried for hours for nothing.

Good portable router - I ended up going with glinet slate 7 over this due to the widgets that you can install like adding ad blocking. This router does it great for its price, as the slate 7 is quite a bit more expensive. Good product and great price

Perfect for travel - Took this on my last trip overseas to use in plane and it worked perfectly

Gaming - Bought this product to help boost WiFi in hotels for streaming videos and gaming and works great.

Too complicated to set up - This product was too complicated and I am pretty tech savvy. Couldn’t get it to connect to internet.

nice little router - nice compact router with all the needed features on the go. works well as an at home access point too
