WD – My Passport for Mac 4TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive – Blue

Can't rely alone on Passport HDD - This is my second external HDD first disk just could not work so had to purchase. Luckily my friend could retrieve data from Linux server. Hoping to work this better.

Highly Recommend - My fav external hard drive, never have had any issues with this as a wedding and lifestyle photographer

Junk, Junk, Junk! - I used this drive for Time Machine backups on my iMac, simple task. Five days ago it stopped working. I've had it for five weeks. When I run disk diagnostics it gets to 30% and cancels itself, over and over and over. I bought a WD two+ years ago and have had great performance so I thought I'll buy another. This drive is junk. Tech advice states it may be a cable issue because it fits so sloppy in the drive. This a specialized cable so good luck finding a replacement. Bottomline, stay away from this external drive. WD quality has taken a nosedive and not what it once was. Now, I have to spend time retuning it. I'm lucky this happened early in the game. I would hate to think what a years worth of lost data might look like.

my passport - It works with my old 2ft iMac as well as laptop I got it portioned.Had one from before for Time Machine and apple computers but with video going from ? 32-64 needed more up to date drive got lots of memory

Hard drive - This has been the best purchase yet, for backing up all our daughters college work.

Amazing HD - Works great, fast transfer times. Makes a comforting humming/buzzing sounds while it’s working.

OK for price and was actually at the store - This was an emergency fix for me when my soild state drive started to die in the middle of a job. I had only had the Samsung solid state drive for about 6 months so that was a surprise. This drive holds the correct amount of data, but is slow to show a directory and slow to read/write. I am happy it works and wasn't $900 like the solid state drives have gone up in price to, and was available at the store rather than having to wait 2-3 days to get it when I had live files in danger of loss if I disconnected my failing drive. Overall, if you need something that holds a lot of data, and don't care if it's slow, and don't want to pay $400-900., grab one of these, it works just fine.

Amazing little blue book - Excellent product very efficient and easy to use. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hard Drive Review - It does what it needs to do and does it as advertised. If you are looking for external hard drives don't look in the "computer components" area. They hidden behind the apple products by printers (at least at my nearest best buy) for both Apple and Windows formatted external drives.

Amazing - I love it, I have for a while now. It is plugged to my computer and I use it for content creation. When I collab with others or I’m somewhere else with family I have all the photos and necessary files. Nothing slows. I even managed to download a game or 2 and works perfectly fine. I love it so much

Easy to use and Reliable - I have used WD products for years and have been very happy with their reliability and easy of use.

Western Digital backup for the win !!! - Great way to back up my data on my MacBook Pro, reads and writes fast!

External Storage - Large Capacity and already formatted for my MacBook. Seems to work well and as intended.

Absolutely great product would recommend it to any - I keep all my photos on this and I’m able to go back and pull them up anytime. I won’t absolutely love it.

Title: Fast delivery. Easy installation.Works well - Fast delivery. Easy installation. Works well. Discounted. I opted to use Apple’s “Time Machine” (instead of the software that came with it) in order to backpack the entire drive. This required that I respond to prompts to erased the drive’s content (during the process), set up a a password (to be used if ever I had to restore my Mac Air drive’s content). The hard Drive came with a cable and a booklet. Instructions on how to use it and other helpful infos can be found in the “User Manual” on the site under “Features” . Color: Blue. My MacBook air was new. I didn’t have a lot on the drive since it was practically, a brand new MacBook so the backup process was very fast. I recommend.

Good external hard drive for Mac computer - Good external hard drive. I use it on a Mac computer.

Want addition cord - Great external hard drive for the money - wish it came with an usb-c in addition to the usb
