Needed to be RMA'd - Worked well but needed to be RMA'd after only a couple years of light use which is disappointing. WD at least cleared it for a replacement without fuss but they didn't send a new drive back, just a recertified one so I hope that it lasts...

Good Plex HDD - I have started my journey into having a plex server due to some movies/shows not available on the platforms I use. I picked it up in store and the install and use has been smooth so far a month in. Quiet and fast. Get the usual 100MB transfers. So far 20 movies , the office ATLA TLOK ,and GOT mostly in MKVs straight from the DVD and it still 5.5 gb left.
It’s a hard drive - And it works. Easy install. It would be nice if they came with the cables necessary. It’d be nice to get two or one that has a spliced end so that I can find one that fits best. It’s not that cables alone are expensive, but that we pay so much for a basic HDD that it would be nice to get so,ething with it.
Grea HD - Cheap, durable and easy to connect. I have no complaints.
Solid Performer - Wonderful drive, plenty of room for photo, music, and video backups - two years going strong. I may treat myself to Red Pro or Black next for long term file storage and backups - the longer warranty period is a nice perk.

Loud - Decent speeds, a whole lot of storage but...you know that Simpsons joke where Bart says his wrist sounds like a cement mixer after all those years of writing on the chalkboard? Every time you write data on this thing it sounds like that.

WD Hard Drive Review - The service from Best Buy was great but unfortunately the hard drive was bad.
A break HDD - I just got a damaged one today! I put it into case, it made a mechanical noise of “click, click….”. and the computer couldn’t identify this drive. I returned it immediately. Yes, I ordered by delivery, I will not dare to ask for delivery in future.
Great hard drive for any need. - Great hard drive. I am using this in a NAS tower to save videos and music on and it has worked very well. ITs very fast and was easy to setup.
Great hdd - Well I needed a good amount of space for work related and I came across this and there was a discount on it and I actually like to buy everything from Best buy they're warranty their service is great
