Better than expected. - The best ive heard. Would buy again. The surround is amazing

Sure not Logitech - I swapped out a Logitech Z906 set of speakers for these. They might have flashing lights but sure don't play music like the logitech, even costing a lot more!

stopped working after 1 year - contacted SteelSeries about my rear speakers popping for some reason. I have never dropped it or caused any water damage. the controller module knob stopped working and SteelSeries will not do anything about it because I'm out of warranty they will not sell me a replacements so if any of your speakers stop working or module ben ready to buy a new one. I purchased April 4 2024. I do NOT recommend

Good Product, Great Customer Support - I've had these for two years and they have been great, setup was easy, make sure you use the equilizer and download a good profile to get the best sound. I am coming back two years later to write about their fantastic customer support. One of my cord plugs got pulled out and while they weren't under warranty Steel Series made it right by sending me a replacement. I will use steel series going forward!

Mediocre at best - Plays sounds about it lights are annoying sound isnt great subwoofer presense isnt felt cant even tell it has one tbh software is glitchy all the common ss garbage totally regret this purchase

Super immersive - Managed to get these on sale, really great quality and immersive feeling playing games with them. Death stranding and kingdom come are something else with these

Steel Series Arena 9 surround - Only easy option for 5.1 surround on PC without too many parts.

Awesome system, just got to fix the 24hz sound - These sounded great, the only issue I had was the sound was only functioning in some games so I had to return them but they are a good product.

Weak surround sound - I did enjoy them but ended up rerurning it because the surround sound on these are very weak. Good sound on the front speakers tho

Very good for gaming! - First of all, this is not for audiophile people. Music, even videos are OK. But when it comes to gaming this is just phenomenal. I do audio engineering and mixing in my professional home studio. I totally understand the purpose of the speakers. They are not meant to listen critically. But it comes with a lot of benefits. It is easy to use. You don’t need an extra sound card with 5.1 outputs or any other sound decoding devices. This would easily add an extra $100 to $200 $ just to get DTX sound or anything else. THIS ITEM DOES NOT ANY OF THOSE SOUND FORMATS. According to the customer service, they just take five channel audio and put it out of GG software. They didn’t answer me on my questions of licensing issues. I assume as a vendor, they have to pay license fees to Dolby. Etc… You do not have any control over the levels of the five channels. But you have a very good control over paramedic EQ and different modes for gaming and chat. I set up my battlefield game, audio output to surround and advanced warfare mode. It is extremely precise, loud punchy with massive bass (for it’s limited size of course ) . Bullets flying through the room. Choppers flying behind and above me. This is the impression I have. It is so fun and beautiful with the lights that I can’t express my happiness whit this item. There is no power button, which is so good because it puts itself on sleep and turns back on when needed. The lights are super bright and gorgeous. You don’t need hundreds of watts of sound when you sit right in front of it because in real world, loudness degrades over distance. There’s a math for it. You can do the calculation online. But if you sit right in front of it, it hits you right in your face when playing games. Overall, great quality for gaming, ease of use for set up, especially the rear speakers since they don’t need any wiring. This the right purchase for me.

Good build but aeem quiet. - They work well, but even at max volume, still seem quiet. Software is nice and build quality is great.

Amazing quality! - Love the SteelSeries Arena 9 works out of the box and has fantastic spatial audio would recommend it.

Sounds better than logitech ones. - Works great with all devices and includes dolby surround.

Very loud popping sounds from the surround speaker - The main speakers have pretty good sound quality. However, the surround sound speakers make a very loud popping sound every 30 seconds after being on for a while. The company has been no help. Returning them would have been too much effort, so I kept the speakers, but I regret the purchase.

Questionable quality, bad warranty support process - Rear speakers had crackling and popping from day 1. After several months I decided to initiate a warranty replacement. SteelSeries support makes you destroy your current speakers (cut the cables, destroy connections, etc.) and send them proof before they will send a replacement set. Their support told me it would take 1-2 days to ship out the replacement set. I communicated to them that I was hesitant to destroy my speakers because I use my computer for work and had no other way to get audio. They assured me the replacement set would ship quickly. I am coming up on day 4 and the replacement speakers still haven't shipped. I asked for my ticket to be escalated to a supervisor today, and they were unable to provide me any updates on my replacement set and when it would ship. Based on my experiences on both the quality of the product out of the box combined with the nature of the replacement policy, I wouldn't recommend buying SteelSeries products.

Best I’ve had and most expensive - I love this yes is it pricy but it’s worth the sound quality is fantastic

Speaker failed - Front right speaker failed after only a few months. Best Buy was no help and steelseries support is a pain to get in touch with. Not buying from steelseries again.

Great surrond sound speakers - Great product. Everything was packaged well and easy to set up. Iblive that ut connects to a usb port making it great for desktop and laptops. The sound quaility is amazing and the RBG lights ad a great feel to the room. Love it so far.

Great Speakers - Awful Support - The speakers work excellently, when they work. The sound is great. The software is easy to use, particularly toggling virtual surround sound. Also, you can turn off the RGB, which I prefer. The negative is that if the hardware breaks, you will not get support. My dog chewed into a speakers cable, and they will not allow me to buy a replacement speakers. If you have pets or children, get a product from a brand where they are ready to sell you replacement parts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND getting this with pets or children.
