Customer reviews
Write a reviewbluetooth is a little confusing - so the mouse is great when it comes to being plugged in wired. i have yet to use it bluetooth wise maybe it’s just a me thing but i can’t figure out how to get it to work and am content with just keeping it wired.
Amazing - This is the first nice mouse I have bought, and i will never go back. This mouse is super light and comfortable. Battery life is great and it charges quick.
Really good for the comfort and buttons - Light weight, super accurate, very nice on the grip for comfort and air ventilation, lots of buttons for multiple binds. Only thing that needs is a better battery but I only end up recharging it every 2 weeks so still great.
Great Mouse for sweaty hands - Like the title says, if your hands sweat in tense gaming moments, this is your mouse. I have had some connectivity issues with it at times, but in general all the buttons work well and are easy to click, battery life is solid and I can just blow it out with my portable air blower when i clean the PC and keyboard. I own multiple models and this would be my second favorite as far as comfort, but the other gets drenched in my hand sweat, making it difficult to hold on to,
Great mouse - It is very lightweight and easy to use (obviously) I like that you can use it wireless or wired if you choose to. Wired in my experience has less input lag but not much of a difference either way. I also appreciate as a gamer that plays a lot that when my hand gets warm the fact that the mouse has the air able to get through it is very nice.
Near the worst mouse I've use - I've had some good and bad mice for different purposes over the years. The aerox 5 wireless is pretty close to the worst I've had. It's not without it's merit but there are much better mice at the price point. First the pros. It's not unusable after all. It's light weight if you prefer that. When it works, movement is smooth. It's got customizable buttons and leds. But so do dozens of other mice these days. The cons. This mouse refuses to stay connected wirelessly which, in searches, appears to be a common issue. The SteelSeries software is atrocious. It's works like something an amateur developer would come up with in their parents basement. Very minimally functional and overly bloated. Coupled with a frequently disconnecting mouse, it doesn't handle the disconnect gracefully. The mouse power monitoring software is buggy. I was on the charger, disconnected, and then used for an hour or so. Not an unreasonable use case. Then it started disconnecting so figured it was connection issue and powered it off and back on. This occurred a few times over the next 10 minutes. Finally it didn't turn on or even light. Figured ok, it wasn't fully seated and didn't take a charge. Fine plug it in and use it wired. It comes up... Fully charged. 90%. Ok disconnect hard wire, drops to 70% but stays up and connected. Continues to work. I use it for another hour, 40%. I think it shouldn't be dropping that fast given the mouse battery should last more than a could hours even with wireless and leds. Turn it off, turn it back on. 80%. It proceeded to last a few days there after. Just not a well designed power circuit and or firmware. The mouse plastic is light but flimsy. Not really my cup of tea. The scroll wheel is not smooth. It takes series effort to operate computer to dozens of mice I've used over the years. The extra buttons don't quite feel like they are in the right placement. There are several that i can't reach and others that don't feel right to trigger. Could be just me. I would say it's just me but my friend got the same mouse about 6 months before me and says he had the same issues and just gave up and bought a new mouse. The long and short is that SteelSeries mice and software should be avoided. I've also had issues with their flimsy headset design breaking on $250 headset after a year so I'm leaning toward all SteelSeries products should probably be avoided. They just aren't well designed and prone to quality issues.
Great mouse - Love everything about the mouse I use it for R6 which is a competitive game
My son loved it thanks - The flex was great my son loved it . The battery life was wonderful
Great gaming mouse - This mouse works great! It is for my son who games a lot.
Awesome mouse, light-weight, stayed charged long. - Its a lightweight mouse, the battery life lasted me a long time, and the overall performance and software were extremely satisfactory.
Great mouse very versatile - Mouse is very light with great handling very comfortable so many buttons which is great for me nice software
Mouse was pretty good - With my time with it it was durable it was super light and got the job done only really replaced it because of little buttons and just other intresting mouses out there but if you want a quick 100 dollar mouse that will do you good this is pratically one of the best options
Amazin gaming mouse - Worth the money, love that you can customize alot from it has really improved my aim in almost every game
Lightweight - This is my second one, and the updated surface is a huge improvement. It has a great texture that doesn't get slippery under your hand, making it comfortable and easy to control. It glides smoothly and feels great to use for long periods. SteelSeries continues to make excellent products, and I highly recommend this mouse.
So far so good - I’ve had this mouse for a little over a month and it functions exactly as I wanted it to. Super lightweight and feels good in the hand.
Worth the purchase - Easy to setup buttons only thing is 8 and 9 are up down so your 8th button on mouse is up click and down click is a different key
Great mouse - Easy to use app, plenty of extra buttons to program. Battery life on wireless will last multiple sessions.
Rgb mouse - This thing is stunning it’s super lightweight and so is its software!
Good until its not. - Really light mouse. Love the breathable and weight reducing holes that also add grip. After about a year and a half the battery life decreases significantly so im constantly having to plug and unplug the mouse. Also the scroll wheel stopped functioning properly after about a year. Would be 5 stars if those two problems were fixed especially for the price.
