Not worth the price. - Lag in trigger pulls when wireless. Not supported in MAC OS all around disappointed in this purchase. Poor quality and doesn’t perform as advertised. Have to have a windows operating system to get the GG app to work. Only positive is the led screen two batteries and it feels sturdy.
GREATE CONTROLLER - I love the battery concept. You get a spare that charges in the stand so you can swap it out and keep playing.
Best Xbox/pc controller I’ve personally owned. - I was a little concerned from early reviews about the back paddles not being removable and sticking out enough to mess with the grip. I’m glad I decided to get one anyways it’s been great. Comfortable and the mechanical buttons are much more responsive. It’s replaced my Xbox elite series two as my daily driver. Love that it uses the same batteries as the nova pro headset too!
Good but not great for Xbox - It was a bit pricey but I went ahead and got them. Immediately I noticed the paddles under the controller were going to be a problem. The aren't detachable and feel bulky. The connectivity is decent but still have a bit of lag every now and then. After a few days I just switched back to my Xbox elite controller.
Over promised but under delivered - Probably one of the worst controllers I've ever used. I have tried every controller that has been released in 2026. Steelseries needs to stick to headsets point blank. Terrible thumb stick response and terrible feedback in the trigger system. For $250 it should be top tier. The top two controllers I can recommend right now are the game sir G7 Pro zenless zone zero edition and currently the recently released razor wolverine V4 Pro for wireless or if you don't mind a wired edition the V4 Pro tournament edition. I personally game on the Xbox series x and I can tell you the new capacitive thumbsticks are even more accurate than any TMR thumbstick I have used and definitely more so than Hall effect. For $200 in my opinion the razor V4 Pro checks every box.
Perfect for Niche Use - As someone who has both my Xbox and PC connected to my TV, this controller is perfect for me. The full mouse click button set and easy to use paddles make this my favorite pro controller I’ve owned so far. It’s a bit pricey if you’re just connecting to Xbox, but it’s truly a premium controller.
One of the worst controllers I ever used - I consider myself a pro controller enthusiast and have tried many of them. This one is by far the most expensive on the market because of its dual battery swap system allowing “infinite” battery life as well as the inclusion of an OLED screen and dock. This same battery works on Steelseries headsets which is very cool. There’s a huge problem though. This controller handles like crap. It has the worst button placements for the start/select/share buttons I’ve ever seen. The amount of times I would accidentally take a screenshot of record a video on my Xbox because of this poor placement is insane. Also out of the box the default settings this controller has plays like crap. Playing FPS like BF6 or CoD was a terrible experience for me. Maybe the settings has to be tweaked (which has to be done via computer) could have made it somewhat better but if I am paying $250 for a pro controller I should expect the bare minimum of being able to use the controller naturally out of the box. Surely someone along the way at Steelseries who play tested this controller would have spoken up about its poor design. I’ll stick with my regular Xbox Elite 2 controller and Wolverine V3 Pro which has an Xbox app btw and is $100+ less than this controller.
