Star Fox – Nintendo Switch 2

The Definitive Version of Star Fox 64 - If they HAD to remake it again, they absolutely knocked it out of the park here. The new cutscenes help blend the levels together nicely and the way stages from the original N64 game are reimagined here are absolutely amazing (especially Sector X, in my opinion)

Great remake of a Classic - A love the 64 version and happy with the remake. I also like the addition of the multiplayer mode to keep it relevant in my library down the line. It has multiple paths to extend gameplay.

Yeah it's a star fox game - If you ever miss playing Star Fox games, buy this. It hits all the nostalgic notes while still being a cleaned up modern game experience that's very satisfying.

Switch game - I bought this for my grandson who absolutely loves it

Absolutely a must for you if you like the original one it answers a lot of questions and it’s overall a very good game .My son loves Fox and we are glad he’s getting some love

Bringing back memories - I still own N64 but the graphic and deeper story line is amazing.

A great remake - One of my favorite games of all time now looks gorgeous. Some may argue that the dialogue has been changed up a bit, but I don't remember anybody complaining about that with other remakes like Resident Evil on the GameCube. Didn't bother me, the old version still exists! This is one of those games you play over and over and over.

Worth buying - Love this game! It’s super fun, and I absolutely love the graphics—well done. My only wish is that the game was a little longer because I definitely wanted more. The latest Nintendo Direct also showed off a really cool update for the game, which made it even more fun to jump back into. Definitely worth the buy if you’re thinking about picking it up.

It was pretty good, delivering solid quality and a smooth experience overall. While a few minor details could use polish, it hits the right notes and meets expectations. Worth checking out if you are curious, though it leaves room for minor improvement. Solid choice.

Great Game - I have only ever played the original SNES Star Fox and Star Fox Adventures for GC prior to this game. I heard it was a pretty short game so I waited until I could get it for $40 after some BB reward certs. It was worth the money at $40. I am not sure if it would be at full price. But it's very fun, the graphics are awesome, and you need to complete the campaign multiple times to get different paths and different cut scenes so its replay ability is there. I have no tried the multiplayer or any of the other modes yet other than campaign but it is really fun for what it is and a great showcase for the graphical power of Switch 2. Recommended if you are a huge fan or if you can get it on sale.

Great Buy - Nothing really new from this game , but it was really good play brought back memories when i used to play it in Nintendo 64. The difference now is i get to share this with my kids and watch them enjoy the game like how i did when i was a kid.

Faithful to the N64 Original - The game is pretty faithful to the game with added cutscenes. Overall, it's a good entry point to the franchise for new players and a nice callback for those that no longer have access to the original N64 version

Perfect remaster! - I go back to the original on the N64. It was one of the first games I bought at the time. Also bought this again on the 3DS. So when I heard it was getting this beautiful touch up and story additions, I was instantly sold. The visuals are outstanding. The adding of story videos expands the game from a simple shooter to a true experience. Highly recommend for S2 owners!

Great remake but pricey - $60 for a remake without any new missions and only a handful of multiplayer maps feels steep. Still, you can tell a lot of love was put into the making of this remake. It plays just like you remember, but it looks amazing and they’ve fleshed out the story with new cutscenes between missions that do vary based on the route you take through the campaign. It’s not a very long game, but those various routes still provide some replay value. It’s an easy recommendation for fans of older Star Fox games. I’m not sure whether it’ll win over new fans but it’s worth a shot.
