Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Standard Edition – Windows [Digital]

Bait and switch - Game is great but not so Best Buy! Watch for a bait and switch with a zero return policy from Best Buy!

Great game - I have spent weeks playing older versions and will with this Civi aswell.

Always a fun series - It's a Sid Meier game, which means fun and a great time sink. I love this version, though i have been a little disappointed that over the years they have made it more difficult to use cheat codes and such, for those of us that want to have a quick domination of the game

How to activate after buying! - This is not a review just a quick tip. I read many reviews around having problem with activation. After checkout when you get the 'ready for download' notification --Login to your BestBuy account --Navigate to Digital Library --Copy the listed Keycode (beside the title photo of the game) --Open Steam Client --Click on Games menu --Select Activate a Product on Steam --Paste the copied KeyCode and click Activate. Following these steps should start the download.

Good enuff - Not quite like the ones from the past I miss the simpler versions but still addictive and enjoyable as long as you get for less than $60

Turn based game - One of the greatest strategy games of all time!!!!

Awesome Game - More of the same but definately awesome! So much fun!

Terible - Game would not download, but Best Buy was happy to charge me anyway. Thanx

Digital code good value - Saved cost of dvd version by ordering online digital copy

Not an easy game for beginners - The graphics are great and if you can get the game on sale, it may be worth it. My big problem with it is the AI is downright broken. No matter what you do you end up in war. The AI declares war on you for the most idiotic reasons (for example, not accepting a ridiculous trade offer). This forces you towards a military focused game-play style. Then, you get egregious warmonger penalties even if you are just defending yourself in a war started by others. A game with a lot of potential ruined by the AI and no fix despite all the complaints they are receiving.

DOWNLOAD RESOLVED - We have yet to play the game so this review is mainly to help out others who have downloaded this game. When the game is ready in your digital library, it prompts you to read instructions which do not work. Calling best buy is absolutely useless, customer service is HORRIBLE. I did a lot of digging and in order to download this game, you need to download STEAM and then you can redeem the code there. If you can I'd purchase from a different online program because the organization of best buys downloads was horrible.

they fixed the error - If you see "file not found" on the download page. call the best buy customer service line and choose the refund option. Then it will ask if you need more help and then they will connect you to a customer service person who will help you by sending you a good working link in your email. The number can be googled but here it is 1-(888)-237-8289

Enjoyable game - I've had a couple older versions of this game and this compares favorably. It's a bit more involved than older models though and required a Steam account which I wasn't too excited about.

Unable to down load game to my computer.don,t know - Hate the game because of unable to play or down load it to my computer.i read the instructions. Waste of money.

no option - i followed directions but when i click the download link it goes to a page that does not exist

New features, not much change - Some of the new features are great, but for the wait since the last game, they haven't changed much.

Good - Not my favorite Civ game entry, but pretty good for Civ fans.

Not a good edition - Not good. Very unnecessarily confusing and complex. Buy CIV5 for $20. Save some cash and it’s the best rendition.

Real deal... - The games' graphics are good. I went from the PS3 version to the computer version. Very different which isn't a bad thing. In the PS3 version I was able to get through a whole came in approximately 3-4 hours. To get through a whole game start to finish has caused me to work more than a 7 -8 hours. This has it's pros and cons...Good game. Wish they would come out with a version for the PS4 or even next generation of playstation platform.

Good game - Bought for the kids to play. They really enjoy it.
