An Incredible Monitor That Changes the Experience - The Samsung Odyssey G9 G950 is genuinely one of the most impressive monitors I’ve used. The massive ultrawide display and immersive curvature make everything feel incredibly engaging, whether I’m gaming, multitasking, or just enjoying content. The picture quality is excellent, with vibrant colors, sharp details, and smooth motion that really make the display stand out. What impresses me most is how much screen space I have to work with. Having multiple windows open side by side feels effortless, and gaming on such a wide display is an entirely different experience. The design is also beautiful and gives my setup a much more premium appearance. It’s definitely an investment, and you need a good amount of desk space, but the experience makes it worthwhile. 49” Odyssey G950 - Display looks amazing aswell as the colors definitely worrh it if you have extra money.

Advanced Monitor - I really like the monitor so far everything exceeded my expectations except for one thing I overlooked which was when I’m screen sharing my wide monitor appears very small for the person on the receiving end of the screen share. Just an afterthought I wish I would have considered. This most likely won’t be an issue for many people.

Open Box Great Value - Picked up an open box monitor from the outlet for a fraction of the original price. My wife loves using it for work.

Noticeable Difference - When I first got this monitor I wasnt sure it made enough of a difference to be worth the cost and I got it on sale. That said I recently had to use my old monitor and immediately started missing this one. I cant quite put my finger on it but the different is definitely noticeable and my old monitor is actually a very good one. That said there are a few drawbacks for this one. 1. A lot of games cant quite work with an ultraeide properly an example would be elden ring. While some games have mods you can install to get around this you do run the risk of getting vac banned by anticheat if you use them so keep that in mind. 2. The screen optimization doesnt give you a lot of time to tell it youre using the monitor and it will cut itself off for ten minutes if you dont stop it. All in all I dont regret my purchase.

Samsung Odyessy 49” - Absolutely love this monitor! I upgraded from a dual monitor setup to just using this one. It’s been so much easier to have multiple windows open (3 can fit comfortably) and be able to work in the center of my screen again without having to work around the split between the screens. The display is also easy to see even with a large window behind me.

Great Display, flicker is annoying - Absolutely monstrous display. Completely changes racing games. The only con to it is it likes to turn of and on on repeat on startup.

Amazing when it works - This Monitor is amazing really image is perfect screen looks amazing good stand i cant speak highly enough of how it is as a product. BUT and there is a very large but my monitor died randomly and it has a 3yr warranty from Samsung so good right? WRONG they tell me i bought a refurbished one or a open box (i did not) and refused to fix/replace my monitor. I tried to talk to best buy about the issue and full credit to this company and the guys I dealt with they understood my issue and because my monitor was less than 6 months old when it broke they tried their best to get Samsung to warranty repair it. Samsung still refused which is insane to me, but best buy made it right by giving me all my money back top tier customer service ill always spend money here rather than amazon or Newegg because of the way they treated me with this issue. so in the end i will Never buy a Samsung product again after this but ill buy from best buy any time

Amazing Monitor - Hands down the best i ever brought, from the graphics the functionability it's just about everything, i use it just about for everything. Gaming, streaming and editing. In a way, you can be playing a Game and look at YouTube on the same screen.

Great monitor if you love ultrawide. - The monitor is fantastic. This is essentially two screen reporting 240hz, which requires a a good display port cable that would be capable of 1440p 480hz essentially. Luckily Samsung provides one. Solid OLED quality that can't be complained about, no burn in. Ultrawide is definitely not for everyone but for those it is for, you will love it. This monitor is in my opinion what all other 49" monitors have essentially tried to be.

The one to beat - Color on it is fantastic. Gaming on it looks incredible. Took a couple days to get used to the size of the screen. Now I wouldn't go back. This monitor will be hard to beat for some time in my opinion.

Amazing G9 - Bought this a few months back by far the best monitor ive played on.

Its worth it just go for it - One of the best monitors on the market for day-to-day use and for gaming, it doesn't hurt your eyes. I think that alone should be a reason to buy it and use it. I had the older version, and I thought it was gonna be the same thing as the old version, just more expensive, and no, they improved a lot on this new display. The color is sharper, and the pixels are definitely sharper. It's expensive, clocking in at 1800 bucks, but you will not be disapointed

Insane immersion with a almost perfect ultrawide - This monitor is honestly next-level for gaming. The OLED panel makes a huge difference—colors are insanely vibrant, blacks are truly black, and everything just looks way more alive compared to regular displays. The 240Hz refresh rate feels incredibly smooth, especially in fast-paced games, and the response time is basically instant. The 49” ultrawide is super immersive once you get used to it. It’s amazing for racing, open-world, and productivity, but some games don’t support the full resolution properly, so you might need tweaks. Text clarity can also be slightly worse than traditional monitors due to OLED subpixel layout, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, if you want top-tier visuals and performance, this is one of the best monitors out there. Just make sure your setup can fully take advantage of it.
