reMarkable – Paper Pro – 11.8″ Paper Tablet with Marker Plus – Gray

Loving it, makes me read more!!! - The product is soo good, build quality is amazing, and writing on it feels amazing.

Good product but the system is slow we can’t add apps like press reader other than that it’s a good one

Amazing! - Honestly I think this is probably the best thing I could've invested in, writing is very smooth, I love how the display looks and the battery lasts forever! The Pros: - The tablet is easy to use, menus are very minimalistic so you get a straight forward experience - The screen is textured, which to me provides nice feedback when writing - Easy to lug around and transport - Has a backlight for using in the dark - Magnetic holder for your pen on the side This tablet overall has been amazing for me and taking notes although I do have some specific cons with it, they're small, however. The Cons: - Tablet is not accessible through file system, you have to use the Remarkable app to drag and drop files - People with hyperhidrosis (such as myself) have a harder time writing since the screen freaks out sith water on it - If left off for extreme lengths of time, you will have to trickle charge the battery through a computer USB to power it back up. - While the slim design is amazing for storage, it can be nerve-racking to handle. Images 1-4 show off the said minimalistic UI elements, 5 shows off the side profile of the device and 6 features the backlight

Big screen that feels like real paper - The Paper Pro is a great digital notebook. The large screen gives me plenty of room for notes, sketches, and marking up documents, and writing with the Marker Plus feels a lot like pen on paper. With no apps or notifications, it's easy to stay focused. It's slim, feels well made, and the battery lasts. If you take a lot of handwritten notes, it's well worth it.

Great way to keep notes while traveling - I was struggling with getting organized for after starting hybrid work. I tried a notebook, then a binder and then I saw a co worker had a Remarkable. Talked to them and they loved it. Saved some money by buying an open box and absolutely love it. It does take some time to get understand how to get organized with its file structure, but give it time. I also downloaded some free sticky mote templates and they have been great. Well worth it, just hope it lasts.

Easy to handle , light weight . - Excellent for notes ...slim frame .. fits on any standard size backpack

Love my note pad - This thing is amazing long battery life can go days before it die, figure out how to transfer files in to it, make different files just convenient because I scribble a lot have a lot in my head and need some where to put instead of parapet I still use my note book as well but trying to get away from that but I like my paper lol!1

Great Upgrade - Backlight and color a great addition. Writes like butter!

Does not live up to the hype - Returned it after like just 3 hours of using. They say it feels like a real paper but I dont remember anytime that I drew a line with red pencil and then waited one second to actually turn into the red line from black! Changing pages takes two seconds . Dealing with ghosting pixels is a nightmare!

The refreshing is killing me - Not working as I expected. Does not worth the money

My wife loved her Christmas gift! - My wife absolutely loves her remarkable. Made her job much easier and doesn’t have to deal with mountains of files in our office. I highly recommend if you want to be organized.

reMarkable Paper Pro - Purchased this digital notebook for work, it has performed flawlessly.

great product - I am a trial attorney and this product is great for the simplicity of taking notes and reviewing documents and being able to write notes on documents. For my career I have used yellow legal notepads and am constantly having to give them to my assistant so she can scan them into our system. Now I just email them to her and she saves them. And I do not have a number of loose notes and notepads lying around my desk. It is also great to have all my notes in one location as the filing system on the remarkable is easy to use and provides instant access. I also like the simplicity of the product as it is not like my ipad with a bunch of apps. I highly recommend the remarkable paper pro!

Excellent product! - Great for everyday writing on the go, business meetings, taking notes, and it has a long lasting battery.

Must have - This is my 3rd remarkable device the pro is by far my favorite. Help me remain focused organised and clutter free

Must have! - Works great! Must have for college classes and careers with a lot of note taking!!

Reliable for 14 months, then ReMarkable shrugged - I'm a licensed therapist and PhD student. My Paper Pro was my primary workspace: session notes, treatment plans, my calendar, a working library of books and articles, research. All of it lived on this device. Three weeks ago I noticed ghosting switching between apps. Within 48 hours the tablet was unusable, the screen darkening while I wrote until I had to reboot mid-task just to keep working. I never dropped it. I kept it in a protective cover, transported it in a padded sleeve, and charged it slowly to protect the battery. It still looks brand new. This was a hardware fault, not abuse. This is my second device. I ran an original RM2 for 24 months without a single issue, which is why I trusted the upgrade. Fourteen months into the Paper Pro, it failed, two months past warranty. Between the RM2, the Paper Pro, and the keyboard folio, I've put more than $2,000 into this ecosystem. ReMarkable's response was total indifference: a new Paper Pro for $700, a refurbished one for $270, or walk away. The handwriting feel and PDF annotation are genuinely excellent. But a company that won't stand behind a device past the minimum warranty window isn't one I can recommend trusting your clinical work to.

Absolutely buy this - I love this if youre a notebook person, you need this!

Waste of time and money - This product is not user friendly and I immediately put it in my back pack and the screen broke so that it can't be used, no one at Best Buy told me how fragile it was or that I had to purchase a cover and there were no covers displayed

ReMarkable Paper Pro is worth the spend - I purchased both a Kindle Scribe Colorsoft and the Remarkable Paper Pro to compare. Both are very strong products, but for very different consumers. If you need access to web browsing, emails, games, and other apps, then the Kindle is your clear winner. But if you need a straightfoward note taking device that doesn't waste time with attention seeking functionality, then the ReMarkable is your best bet. Once you spend a little time with it and get used to the interface, you'll find it is very user friendly. Just don't expect it to be an smart tablet. The writing surface is truly unique and is very fun to write on. The battery life is sufficient, just charge it at night and you're probably find to have it on all day with maybe a short charge or two. I literally have it open all day on my desk. Very handy. Use Chatgpt or Claude to design your own templates to upload and you'll have endless options. Import note templates, coloring books, recipes, handwriting templates, etc... It's not for everyone, but if you are the target audience, you'll absolutely love it.
