Charming, Hilarious, and Incredibly Fun! - This game is an absolute masterpiece. Whether you played the original years ago or are totally new to it, the whole experience is incredibly fun from start to finish. The world looks like a beautiful, colorful pop-up storybook, and the characters are genuinely hilarious and charming. The battles are super easy to learn and keep you engaged with simple timed button presses that keep you engaged from start to finish. I highly recommend picking this up for your collection!

Nice rerelease of a classic game - I was a fan of the original gamecube release so was looking forward to this and being able to play on handheld. Its been fun and did not disappoint.

Good game - Got this on sale for a good price. Fun game works well.

Best Single Player Mario Game - This game has goofy dialogue, a cool story, and great mechanics. I had this on GameCube as a kid, but my sister put BBQ sauce in my system, preventing me from even completing the first chapter. So here I am 20 years later enjoying it even better than I could have back then.

Paper Mario - My son loves this game and can't put it down. It's a different way to play Mario and he's all for the challenges.

a classic - played this a lot back in the old gamecube days and happy to take a crack at it again.

Paper mario - Love this game so nostalgic and fun to play 10/10 game

Can’t wait to play - Can’t wait to break into this and play it. Love the paper Mario series

Great Game - Another great game for nintendo switch. Really enjoyed the graphics, storyline and soundtrack!

Great remake - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door on Nintendo Switch is a phenomenal remake of a GameCube classic, revitalizing one of Mario’s best RPGs with a gorgeous papercraft visual overhaul, an orchestrated dynamic soundtrack, and witty, memorable writing. Its theater-stage turn-based combat remains a masterclass in engagement thanks to timed action commands, unique partner abilities, and an extensive badge customization system. Nintendo also introduced smart quality-of-life additions, such as a fast-travel pipe room and quick partner swapping, to smooth over legacy friction. On the downside, the remake targets 30 FPS instead of the GameCube original’s 60 FPS (even if frame pacing stays solid), and despite the new warp shortcuts, certain chapters still suffer from noticeable backtracking and tedious fetch quests. Nevertheless, its irresistible charm, hilarious dialogue, and deep RPG mechanics make it an essential adventure on the console.

RPG Masterpiece - This is a must-play game! Fun gameplay, lovable characters, and immense depth that will have you revisiting old areas and searching every nook and cranny for hidden secrets. Just when you think you've seen it all, there's even more to surprise you!

Classic - One the greatest remaster at the time. Also, it is fun for all ages.

A Timeless Masterpiece - This is one of the best remakes I’ve ever played — a loving, faithful update that respects the original GameCube classic while making it feel fresh and vibrant for modern audiences. If you’re a Mario fan, an RPG lover, or just someone who appreciates charm, humor, and top-tier presentation, this game is an absolute must play. Buy this game. Whether you played the original and want to relive the magic in glorious HD, or you’re discovering it for the first time, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is pure Nintendo excellence. One of the standout titles on the Switch and easily one of the best Mario games ever made. Highly, highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
