Doubles as WebCam - I found this thing very useful as I can also use it as a WebCam. Nintendo always makes good quality stuff.
Great product - Really nice camera to play the compatible games from switch 2
Premium Feel, Decent Camera - I didn't have crazy expectations, but it works incredibly well. I love the premium metal housing. It's not top heavy in the slightest. Would easily recommend if it goes on sale or you have some reward certificates.
It’s an original gotta have it - I only got one friend 2 use it — juz cuz it’s switch 2
DO NOT PREORDER FROM BEST BUY - best buy does not respect small titles and will not order enough to cover preorders. they also will not let you know there aren’t enough until post launch. what that means is if you’re ordering an item that isn’t printing a ton of copies, you may not get it at all. regardless of how long ago you preordered
Worst purchase - Don’t bother you can use any usb camera, no need to purchase this one it’s not even that great.
My new pc camera - I use this primarily for discord and it’s worked surprisingly since I thought it only was supposed to be for the switch 2
Excellent product for the right price (on sale) - The camera itself is lackluster but I believe that is also a product of the Switch 2, that being said it's solid and does the job. Only real complaint is the short cable provided
Great camera - Great quality camera not 4K its 1080P still its great quality!!!
A Decent Enough Camera - If you're looking for a camera for your Switch 2, this is as the title suggests a decent one. It comes with a built in privacy shutter which I thought was cool. I took off a star for the high price as realistically I think it should cost 35$. Lucky for me I got it on sale for 30$.
Slightly disappointed - With this being the Nintendo branded camera it is not bad for the size and specs of what it can do. The slight disappointment is that it is still in 1080p, with the new switch doing 4k seems like Nintendo skimped on resolution which is very noticeable. They also do not have a good enough system set up for this yet. Not worth the price at this time.
It's a camera - This camera is used for the most niche things in Nintendo games. Its fun to mess around with and i am glad i got it on sale, however at full price its just a 720p camera with very limited functions and games.
There Better USB Camera - Only get if you want everything for Nintendo Switch 2 Console
Good camera for the switch 2 - The image quality is not the best, but it works, not many games to use it, but good for the chat
Works well - We like the camera. Not the highest of resolution but it does what it needs to do. Adds fun to Mario Kart being able to see people's faces above their kart. Got it on sale which made it worth it.
Not much use for it personally. I’ve been using it in starfox, maybe it’ll be more fun with Mario Party but so far it doesn’t feel like something you need for the system
Great addition to the Nintendo! - Great addition to the Nintendo. moved across the country and this has allowed my kids and their friends to stay in touch.
Does its job. - When the Switch 2 had it's first Direct in 2025, and they showed that a big feature of the system would be the camera, I was skeptical. They marketed it as a huge way to stay connected by allowing essentially Zoom calls while voice chatting when you play games with friends, and some games offer unique features with it. I unfortunately don't have friends that play games online with me, and I only have one friend that has a Switch 2, so I have not tried it for the voice chat. I have tried it for Mario Party Jamboree and StarFox, and it's adequate. Nothing ground breaking, but cool to see fun gimmicks in today's gaming climate. Mario Party has unique minigames that use it almost like the Kinect for rhe Xbox, and StarFox allows for Vtuber skins of the StarFox cast while using the voice chat feature. Both of these in ideal conditions work well, but there's a lot of caveats that get in the way in terms of the lighting, angle, and distance of the camera. Since the camera also runs on USB C, you can use it on a computer, which worked nicely for a Zoom call I was on as my built-in camera stopped working. The camera is 1080p, so it looked pretty good on the call. My main issue with the camera is that you can't lower the stand. It would be most beneficial for my gaming setup to have it in the center of my screen, but due to tthe height of the stand, it blocks my screen, leading to me only busting it out when necessary, rather than leaving it as a part of the setup. Maybe once more games use it, it'll be worth it. For now, it's definitely an optional peripheral. Nowhere near useful enough unless you have friends who play Switch online all the time. For that, it might be worth it. But for the average person, ypu can totally skip it and miss nothing.
Solid Switch 2 camera - The camera works well and is very responsive. It is a little taller than I would like but is solidly built.
The camara works just good - For the price i think they could offer more than a laptop quality image. But if you enjoy nintendo chat. Go for it
