Poor product and warranty claim experience - Buyer beware: NETGEAR requires you to register your product immediately in order for warranty coverage to take effect but even in the event of a valid claim, you are expected to pay the shipping to NETGEAR. It cost me $14 to send this ~$55 switch to NETGEAR, not including the time to file claim, package, go to the post office not to mention my network's downtime. While they offer a paid expedited shipping option and to send you a replacement, what I wanted was to not incur additional costs for investing in the wrong company. This was a bad experience of a product not lasting more than a year made worse by NETGEAR not even covering a mere return shipping label.

Worked Flawlessly - I liked how easy it was to setup and configure. No need to configure if you don't need to, but if you do, there are lots of options.

Failed in less than a month. - Still connected local devices to each other but lost internet to all downstream devices.

Excellent Gigabit Switch – Fast, Reliable, and Eas - I’m very happy with the NETGEAR Plus Series 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch. It was easy to set up, works reliably, and provides fast, stable connections for all my devices. The 8 ports give me plenty of room to connect my network storage, security cameras, smart TV, and other equipment. The compact design is also a nice bonus. Overall, excellent build quality and performance for the price. Highly recommended!

Speed hub - Not only was this hub easy to install, it turned out to be a very fast hub.

Simple, functional, excellent performance. - Basic network switch, totally plug and play, provides network expansion. Probably capable of a lot more than I'm asking of it.

Great switch! - I have always been a NetGear fan. Their switches work great when you need the extra ports!
