Customer reviews
Write a reviewGod of all motherboards - Top tier motherboard. Enthusiast only . Remember the 2nd gen 5 slot shares lanes with the GPU
stunning motherboard but unreliable ezbridge - The motherboard is absolutely stunning once you unbox it—premium materials, excellent build quality, and visually one of the best boards I’ve ever owned. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill because of the EZ Bridge. I ran into multiple issues with the EZ Bridge early on. I attempted to resolve them by flashing different BIOS versions, but each update only made the situation worse rather than improving stability or functionality. After exhausting troubleshooting options, the board became unusable. Because I delayed my build while saving up for a graphics card, my one-month return window with Best Buy had already expired by the time the problems escalated. As a result, I had no choice but to send the motherboard directly to the manufacturer for service. This board has incredible potential and looks amazing, but the EZ Bridge issues and the BIOS experience significantly hurt reliability. At this price point, stability and quality control should be better, especially for advanced features that are heavily marketed.
X870e Godlike, not as bad as people say. - Ive already installed one of these into my girlfriend's computer. This is not the monstrosity people have been claiming it to be. Yes, its a bigger board. Yes, that means its going to take extra care in ensuring it fits your case properly. The install, for a first time board like this, was by far, not the most difficult thing Ive done. Make sure youre using the right screws. Make sure your bridge is properly placed. The only downside to this board is the ez connect. Its cheap, it sucks, but I dont count it as part of the board. Controllers are cheap, dont whine about a controller.
Very powerful - This board is powerful and looks really nice. It might be overkill for some so plan your build accordingly.
Msi did it again - One of the best MB I’ve even brought. When I decided to actually build a gaming/production pc this MB came in clutch and give me everything I need for the now ai demanding tasks
It works amazing - I really like the design of the motherboard and I think it matches well with my pc. I’ll definitely wont have to upgrade for a while!
GODLIKE - Enthusiast Level Motherboard! - I have built my own PCs using the MSI X870e Tomahawk, Carbon and now the Godlike, and have to say this is a beautiful and well build board. From the moment you see the packaging and unbox it you will notice this is truly a high end and great quality board. It was designed with great aesthetics and truly feels premium from the design, backplate, VRMs, LCD screen, and all the additional cables and accessories included in the box. Now, this board is not for everyone, the price is high compared to other X870e motherboards, but you are paying for all the premium and enthusiast level features. I use it for work, ML, AI and gaming, so the features are good for me. I installed all 5 NVME SSD slots, and I am running 2 of them at Gen 5 speeds. You have the ability to add the PCIe accessory and add 2 more NVME SSDs for a total of 7, but you lose from X16 to X8 Gen 5 for your main GPU if you do this, but you have that option. The build is different than other mother boards as most connections are on the right of the board, and you need to plan for this, as well as use an extended EATX PC case. You also need to plan and make sure you have the room to connect everything to the right, or you can also use many more ARGB and Fan connections inside your case using the provided hub. As you can see on my pictures, this is a great motherboard for custom watercooling, and I used both the pump connections and sensor cables to control my water pumps and keep track of the temps and RPMs. The Godlike LCD looks great as well, and you cna read your sensor data right there, and you can modify it to add images, videos or customize the sensor readings. In conclusion, this is an excellent motherboard for enthusiast who don't worry about cost, and focus more on Quality, features, looks and push your motherboard to higher limits when overclocking. Have fun with it!
Great motherboard, but not exactly perfect. - Firstly, if you have a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, you need to update the BIOS. At first, I got a motherboard that came with a corrupted BIOS, so it would never update properly. Luckily, I sent it back and got a new one without issues. The motherboard itself is pretty with the crystal aesthetic, and I enjoy having the LCD screen to check my temperatures. However, sometimes the LCD screen resets to default after powering down. If you have the money and like pretty motherboards, then I recommend this board. I would only recommend this board to enthusiasts.
Great board - awful Install - This board has nearly no instructions and was a bear to install and get running correctly. It's working great now ( minus one board led that won't light up ). Getting fastastic benchmarks with it and the ezpanel plays videos which is amazing and not really advertised. The bridge didn't work and there's only one argb port on motherboard, so be prepared for that if you buy it. Overall very satisfied with purchase, but for 1k they could put in better instructions and a better bridge ....
Beast of a motherboard for a price at $1300, I wouldn't recommend but for $999 definitely.
Godlike gaming - It lives up to its name definitely worth the buy !
