Fun but short - I had fun playing this game but the longevity wasn’t there for me.
Great follow up to the gamecube title - This is basically what I wanted the original Air Rider on GC to be. More stages, a story mode, bigger modes, a larger roster, more vehicles. It's a great game with a lot of online modes to mix things ups.
Great new riders game - If you like the first kirby air riders then you will definitely love this one
Very fun! - Worth the purchase, it's an awesome racing game and an even better Kirby game.
Keeps the original feel with modern sensibilities - A great modern update of the original. Keeps the same feel of the original game with more robust game modes, and the story mode was actually pretty well done. It feels similar to the subspace emissary from brawl or the other more fleshed out single player modes in the other hal land multiplayer focused games
A fun and exciting party game with a nice campaign - The main focus is as a fun racing game at a party or with a group of friends. With three different multiplayer modes it has something for most audiences ranging from chaotic arena's, regular rides, and a top down arcade-esque mode that lets everyone have fun. If you want a single player experience it can definitely offer a lot of fun in the story mode with branching paths and unlocks along with a surprisingly interesting story even with its aim at being enjoyable for all ages too experience. The controls are simple and while that means anyone can hop in and play, it does still have a small learning curve since most actions are context based. The controls can feel a little clunky if you want to do more than have arcade fun at a party and without an option to adjust the controls it does tend to feel more like a game for children which can be off-putting to some. Overall I think its definitely worth buying but if you mostly play single player games it is definitely much more focused on the multiplayer aspect of it. I personally enjoyed the story mode and could play it repeatedly but I can understand that some people might only get one to three play-through's of the story before they get bored.
Great Fun - Fun game. Its an interesting twist on a cart racer
What a great game - Way better than I expected. Very enjoyable for any age.
Fun game - Great game if you loved the original, just be ready to have to relearn some of the controls. All the extra riders and warp stars make the game a blast to play!
Fun Game - This game is so cool and the controls are so simple but fun! It is very fast past which I appreciate. If you like Kirby and you like racing games you will like this game for sure.
A wonderful sequel and homage to a slept-on game - If you liked Kirby Air Ride on GameCube, you’ll love this. It’s almost the same game but with tons of added content. Kirby Air Riders treads the line between sequel and remake by the skin of its tippy toes. All I have to say is City Trial with online multiplayer is chaotic and addicting.
Been waiting for sequel - Love the first air riders and this game delivers a lot like the first game
Chaotic, Fun, Cute - Game is fast paced and chaotic but in such a way that makes it so fun to play. Challenges in the game are range for being baby easy to difficult and annoying.
Awesome game ! - My kids and grandkids love all the Kirby series, this was a good add-on to the other games !
So much racing - I like this better than Mario kart! This is so fun and fast and has so much gameplay variety as well
Kirby Air Ride - A surprise sequel to a game I played in grade school. Even more fun and hectic than the original, though direction of city trial is a little questionable.
Simple Fun Straight From the Gamecube Era - A fantastic game that fans of the original will love. It adds depth while still preserving what made the original shine; its simplicity and character. The customizability of the machines is great too!
Gameplay is average - The gameplay is not immersive, but passes industry standards.
Fun arcade racer with minigames - Very fun if you are a fan of arcade-y racers. It does feel distinct from games like Mario Kart beyond just the roster. Very heavy UI influence from Super Smash Bros, but its put to good use. Feels like a passion project. Give it a try.
One of the better games on switch 2 - This game is like the old Kirby air ride but with a bit new stuff.
