Joby - GripTight Pro - Nice product and all if you have a Tablet/XL Phone without a case. Otherwise with a thick case it’s pointless. I could never understand that mostly a lot of manufacturer assume devices to be bare and no drop protection cases! It’s inconceivable to not have any protection on your devices for attachments like these. I wish i could’ve tried it out before purchasing. It doesn’t open wide enough for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10s + with the case on unfortunately

JOBY GripTight PRO Tablet Mount. - This Tablet Mount worked great on top of Manfrotto - 290 Tripod. A great combination to create a video of Union Pacific Big Boy running through Palmyra, PA!

Clamped - So the mount is created for a tablet or unfolded foldable phone.. and makes a nice viewing experience if used during actively watching or recording

Tablet Grip - I use it, in my studio for my teleprompter tablet mount, and i use it on the go. For my videos. It is a great tool, it gives me free hand workmanship.

Good Secure Mount for iPad Air - I use this mount for my 11 inch ipad air for filming podcasts and it works great! The customizable clamp makes it fit securely on my ipad. I never have to worry about if this mount is going to fail me because I know it won't. When it comes to mounts you get what you pay for and this one is a great example of that.

Good but not universal with all types of tripods - it does the trick in holding the tablet without its case. unfortunately, I did not have the appropriate tripod or one that holds the weight capacity.

Exactly what we needed. - I bought this for my son to use with his iPad, and it’s been exactly what we were looking for.

Well built - Only for large phones or Tablets - I really like the build quality with all the cheaper versions available. I purchased an open box and the description was accurate as "Excellent." If you want to use this on your smart phone, it would have to be large and used vertically as the clamping system will not compress enough to do a "phone" landscape. It held my Mini Ipad easily.
