Perfect for laptop to monitor - The HDMI ports on my monitor were being used by soundbar and ps5 so this cable was exactly what I needed. Laptop usb-c to monitor DisplayPort and I get perfect 4k video. It even resolved the flickering I was getting using an HDMI cord.

Great cable, I'm certain, but it's *directional* - Looking at the cable, the quality is good, I found no physical defects with the cable itself OTHER than the fact that the cable is directional (there are little yellow tags that state this INSIDE THE BOX) and in my case, it's going the wrong way (USB-C -> HDMI). There is NOTHING on the box, or anywhere in the product description that states this fact. Now that I have purchased (and returned) the cable, I am aware of this. It would be rather awesome if Best Buy or Insignia updated the description, if nowhere else than the item description here on the web, but ALSO on the box to state this, it would keep people from needlessly buying this, finding out it is not functional in the way it's described, then having to return it.

Exactly what I needed - Used these to connect 2 external displays to my MacBook over usb c. Had no issues worked flawless and gave me full resolution and refresh rate

As advertisted - This has been sturdy and feels pretty high quality. I don’t use it non stop, but it comes it very handy when I want to connect a device that’s not normally in my setup. I have a dock with all the pass through capabilities, but something about a direct wire is just better speed and resolution for me. Works great if you want to connect an iPad Pro (or any that can mirror or extend displays) which has been my main use. Definitely worth keeping one of these handy for a home work station
