HyperX – HP OMEN 16″ 165Hz 2.5K OLED Gaming Laptop – AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX (2025) – 16GB Memory – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 – 1TB SSD – Shadow Black

Excellent Gaming Laptop with Amazing Performance - The HP OMEN 16 is a powerful gaming laptop with impressive features. The 165Hz OLED display offers sharp visuals, vibrant colors, and smooth gameplay. The Ryzen 9 processor and RTX 5060 graphics make it a great choice for gaming, multitasking, and demanding applications. The 1TB SSD provides plenty of storage, and the overall design looks sleek and premium. A great option for both gaming and everyday productivity. Highly recommended!

the product performance is excellent - I’m very happy with this purchase! The overall performance, display quality, and cooling are all very good. Everything runs smoothly, and it has met my expectations across the board. A solid choice that I would recommend!

Fantastic laptop for gamers! - I am exceptionally pleased by the smoothness of the keyboard. System runs great. No problems, no hesitations. Very happy and would purchase this product again. I play a lot of Blizzard MMO games and have been very pleased with this computer's consistencies.

Very happy with my purchase - I’m very happy with this laptop so far. It meets my needs, and I’m glad I bought it. I would recommend it.

Great OLED and cooling, battery mid - I’ve been really happy with this laptop. The 2.5K OLED display is the highlight: colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the 165Hz refresh rate makes everything feel smooth, whether I’m gaming or just working. It’s honestly one of the best screens I’ve seen on a laptop in this price range. Cooling is excellent. Even under heavy load, with demanding games or intensive work, it stays cool and performance stays consistent without throttling. The Ryzen 9 8940HX and RTX 5060 handle everything I’ve thrown at them. The only downside is battery life. Unplugged, it doesn’t last very long, so plan on keeping the charger nearby if you’re working away from a desk. That’s pretty typical for a gaming laptop with this much power, though. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it, especially for the display and how well it handles heat.

new laptop - Excellent product, meets all expectations, sales person Kayla covered all my needs...she was very attentive 5 stars

Gaming pc - I like the HQ on the pc and it's perfect for my school and gaming

Small laptop with a punch - Great laptop its not to loud at all. Graphics are great.

Great build - Nice laptop did what I needed it to do wish it came with 32gb ram

nice product - cool smooth functioning, nice look, great gaming laptop

My knowledge is minimal - Im pretty dumb when it comes to technology, but this laptop has been working well for me, handling my needs with no issue.

Good Gaming Laptop - My only 2 concerns were wanting more RAM and more storage. I added another 16GB to memory and added a second NVmE SSD. Just fyi, the second one is the very small almost square ssd. I use it most days, it is significantly faster than my home desktop. Good solid gaming laptop.

Great Quality and fast gaming - Screen quality is amazing as well as the processing speed. Highly recommended as a good gaming pc

Great production laptop - I couldn’t be happier with this HP OMEN 16" (2025). The AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX paired with the RTX 5060 handles everything I throw at it with ease, delivering smooth, high-fps gaming without breaking a sweat. The absolute highlight is the 2.5K OLED 165Hz display. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the blacks are perfectly deep, and the fast refresh rate makes gameplay feel fluid. On top of the raw power, the HyperX integration is excellent, and the laptop manages its thermals remarkably well during extended sessions—it connects seamlessly to my external setup and stays cool under pressure. With a fast 1TB SSD and a sleek Shadow Black design, it is the perfect machine for anyone looking for premium gaming and heavy multitasking performance. Highly recommended!

Had some technical issues - Shift + W for sprinting in games did not work properly, when I released shift sprinting did not stop and I had to release w to stop and than press w again to walk…

Outstanding BUY - Perfect laptop for college. Especially great for down time from studies. I can play all my favorite games with great speeds. The graphics are great and the color is outstanding.

Solid - Great system for gaming, editing, design, or work apllication

not bad! - honestly its great, better then my main pc. def great for gaming, haven't had any problems yet, i would def like to buy a fan and multscreens for it eventually.

Gaming Laptop that’s functional for college - This laptop is an excellent choice for people who need a strong laptop for their college work, but also want to use it for studying. It’s got great specs for the price, the biggest downside is the RAM, but if you need more you can always upgrade it whenever you need to.(though, RAM is pretty expensive right now so that might be another 400 dollars you invest into upgrading it) The battery life is, like with most gaming laptops, pretty bad. I’d say at 100%, if I’m not running anything except some simple tabs for studying, I might get about six hours or so before it dies or gets low. Although this isn’t ideal for studying, it’s manageable if you can find an outlet, and it will last a decent amount of time without being plugged in if you don’t run anything too intensive. Its battery life is good for a gaming laptop, but don’t expect too much from it, it’s still a gaming laptop. As I said earlier, the specs are pretty good for the price, and it can handle a good amount of work without losing much performance. Though I would definitely recommend getting the RAM upgrade for smoother performance. The laptop is somewhat large, and it has a slight angle to it due to the studs on the bottom giving the fans at the bottom room to breathe. It’s somewhat heavy as well, so it might be difficult to carry around, but if you get a good backpack this problem can get minimized to extra weight on your shoulders. The cooling itself is good, the laptop can get a bit hot, but the fans work well, and aren’t absurdly loud. The extra room on the bottom makes the cooling system a bit better, just be aware that anything that you leave your laptop standing on will heat up if you run anything intense enough to get the fans running.(which doesn’t take much) Since the laptop is larger, it’s got a bigger display, which is nice, however it doesn’t have touch screen. All in all, I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a less expensive laptop that can handle more intensive tasks. It has great specs for the price, with a notable exception on the RAM. You can always upgrade it, but RAM is quite expensive currently, so it might be worth spending that extra 400 to 500 dollars on a better laptop.

Good gaming laptop - Laptop has a great screen with adequate brightness and works very fast. Games are running well, but I was concerned about only 16 gigs of memory so I added a 32 gig sodimm at 5600. The laptop memory runs at 5200. I like the keyboard and the fact that it has a numeric keypad as well as good tactile keys. I am only a modest gamer and use the laptop for a variety of tasks. A good price for a fast laptop.
