Best for content creators - This port hub has everything you could possibly need. This is a must pick up for content creators who are in need of reliability for any and every situation imaginable. All port are fully functional. I best use this for creating music. I have Logitech computer speakers connected to the hub. I have an Ethernet cable connected, studio headphones plugged into the headphone jack port. My microphone connected to the type C port and the other type c port is charging my MacBook. This port hub can tend to get hot for the container plug ins/ usage I get out of this device. However, it does not intervene performance.

Handy gadget to have - Comes ready to use & comes in very handy for newer laptops which only have 1 or 2 ports. Used the SD, HDMI, & USB ports so far. No issues.

A Convenient All-in-One Hub - This hub is very convenient for expanding the limited ports on my laptop. I can connect an external monitor, memory cards, USB devices, and Ethernet through one compact adapter. The connection has been stable, and the slim design makes it easy to carry in my bag. It is especially useful for photo and video work when I need several devices connected at the same time.

Hyper Drive - It is light and easy to carry; I can use it across many devices.

Hyper drive port - Item works perfectly for my surface pro. I was concerned I couldn't use multiple monitors but with this I was able to it all.

Good device and very helpful now that all laptops come with USB C only and very limited ports. Just be aware e that some device like mouse or keyboard plugged in it might have a little lag.

Worked perfect for almost a year - Perfect for the time it worked then just nothing now contacting HYPER to see about a replacement

Defective hub returned! - Ran into an issue with this hub, as the high speed USB A port would not connect with my devices. Maybe it was just this single unit.

Works great Helps with more ports for downloading photos and such. Great product!

Excellent. - Great dock. Super solid built quality. I personally love the subtle blue color but it might stick out if all your tech is black.

Gets the job done, but it can be a bit finicky - ​I’ve been using this HyperDrive for a while now, and honestly, it’s just okay. It definitely solves the problem of not having enough ports, and the midnight blue color looks great on my desk. Having the SD card slots and Ethernet all in one spot is super convenient when it’s actually working right. ​The reason I'm only giving it three stars is that it's been a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the data transfer speeds feel way slower than they should be, and every once in a while, it just stops recognizing my external drive or the HDMI signal entirely. Usually, unplugging it and plugging it back in a couple of times fixes the issue, but it’s definitely annoying when you’re in the middle of working. ​It also gets pretty hot if you’re using more than a couple of ports at once. It’s a decent hub for the most part, but for the price, I was hoping for something a bit more stable that I didn't have to "babysit" as much. It works, but you might have to deal with some occasional reconnecting to keep everything running.

Excellent USB Hub/Dock/Adapter - It's great. Significantly better than the two other USB Hubs I tried. It works well with my laptop running Kubuntu Noble (24.04) Linux. The HDMI is 4K @ 60Hz whereas most other USB hubs seem to be 4K @ 30 Hz. The case is aluminum with a dark blue color that I like. The case is a bit bulky, but it has a longer cord than the others I tried which it easier to place on my desk. It has the following ports: * HDMI 4K at 60 HZ * Ethernet at 1 Gbps * SD slot rated at 312 MB/s (not Mb/s) * 3.5 mm Audio microphone/headphone jfack * microSD slot rated at 312 MB/s (not Mb/s) * 2 x USB-A, 1 at 5 Gbps and 1 at 10 Gbps * 2x USB-C both rated at 10 Gbps * 1 x USB-C Power Delivery input port PD 3.1 at 140 Watt I haven't measure the speed of any of the ports, but the ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports work for me. The USB-C ports are definitely fast for data transfers. It even comes with a useful manual! I t gets a warm even without using the power delivery port. Other folks say it gets hot; maybe I need to run 100 Watt through it for that to happen. If you need ethernet and HDMI then I think this is the one to choose. Even if you don't need ethernet, I'd recommend it for the four high speed USB ports it has. I'm quite happy with it. For some reason I couldn't find it on the shelf at the Best Buy store, but I ordered it online and picked it up at the store on the same day.
