Perfect Printer! - I bought this after struggling with a different name brand printer for years. I purchased it so I could print a sewing pattern the night before it needed to be completed. The set up was so easy. I was able to have it set up within thirty minutes of opening the box, including connecting it wirelessly to my laptop and my cell phone. I’m 26 and I would buy Epson printers over and over purely based on how easy this printer is to use. My son also loves that I print him stuff on it too! From coloring pages to practice pages for him to learn reading and writing, this printer does it all! This printer actually changed my life and I will never buy another brand.

Can’t change ink cartridges - When ink is used up, printer will not move carriage to correct position to change cartridges

Get the job done, but ink cost too much money - Quality overall is good if the ink wasn’t so expensive I would definitely recommend it but it’s too expensive overall I bought it and honestly, I’ve only used it till the ink ran out because I couldn’t afford to refill it now it’s just collecting dust and I go to the library and pay $.25 for something to print. In my eyes is definitely money wasted because I can’t keep up with it. If it was reasonable then it will definitely get five stars but for now I will have to say three. It does a great job. It’s just too much to keep up with it. I have kids in school and we print a lot of stuff for projects, essays scholarships and it’s just a lot right now. It could be the economy, but I will not recommend this product not for now.

Don't buy! Enforces using too pricy OEM cartridges - After the latest upgrade on the firmware, Epson enforces using very pricy OEM cartridges that are almost equal to the price of the printer itself. I needed to print a lot of pages and have started spending money on cartridges. Now I am thinking to buy another model that has a ink tank. Also I did not like the scanner quality. My old 7 yo Canon G3415 has a far more sharper scanner quality. This product is trash.

Great Printer! - Out of all of the printers I have used, this one has been the most user friendly. The set up was easy to do and I was able to get printing right away. I can connect it to my phone or laptop over wifi which is very handy. Despite this printer being on the cheaper side, it has great quality and does not require the use of a subscription like other printers do. I would recommend this printer to anyone who needs a printer for simple needs.

EpsonPrinterXP-4200 difficult to connect w/computr - It was very difficult to connect to the computer. I needed professional help. Once connected, it works well.

Run faster than Forrest Gump from this. It sucks! - Absolute garbage. I had a HP that lasted about 11 years and the scanner quit working, so I made arguably one the worst purchase of my life and bought this hunk of garbage. It's awful. The printer in the Office Space movie is leaps and bounds better than this one and they murdered it in a field. It chews through ink at a rate that makes me have to put a line in my budget to spend on ink. Occasionally it just decides that it wants the day off and then decides that it needs a long weekend. Here are a few haiku's about my experience. Wi-Fi disappears Ink costs more than printer I should buy a rock Epson wakes me up Just to tell me it won't print Worthless plastic box I press “print” and wait It cleans the heads for twenty minutes Nothing ever prints Tiny Epson printer You have tested all my patience Please just break and die

Garbage The ink lasted five times less than stated, it prints very slowly and the quality is very poor

It was actually better than I expected. - What I liked is the high-quality printing and the ease of use.

It's Good For What It Is - Nothing special about this copier it does what is needed. I do like that it is Bluetooth but should have got the better modle with the fax and ethernet connection. But it is good for what it does.

Good printer - The Epson printer is very good for my home use. It gives clear copies and prints quickly. The only reason the 4 stars rather than 5 is that I had diffelectly changing the ink cartridges.

Cheap but expensive - It prints well but only accepts epson branded ink and will completely stop working if a third party ink is used. you would save more buying an eco tank printer

Not as advertised. - This printer says it has a touchscreen it does not. It says it has a paper tray and it does not. no wonder they’re selling it so much cheaper now than they did last month.
