Edifier – R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers/Computer Speakers/Studio Monitor Speakers, 2.0 Active Near Field Monitors 42 Watts RMS – Brown

Fantastic sound quality - Love the way they sound. They can easily fill my (admittedly small) apartment with sound an not get crunchy to do it.

Impressive sound - Such full clear sound quality. Bought these for mixing music and was truly blown away by how clear every bit of sound is. Haven't even tried to see how loud these can go but they are LOUD.

Great speakers for the price - Its just what I needed for my turn table set up. Great powered speakers that wont break the bank. The sound quality is pretty good but im also not an audiophile. Overall pretty good.

Nice little speakers - Speakers work great and perfect for small spaces. Sound is strong.

Speakers - Absolutely love this speaker great sound and quality

Edifier-R1280T Speakers - I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed, but these Edifier R1280T speakers completely exceeded every expectation. The sound quality is rich, clean, and full — vocals come through crystal clear, and the bass has a warm punch without ever sounding muddy. Whether I’m listening to music, watching YouTube, or working at my desk, the audio feels balanced and professional, almost like a mini studio setup. Setup took less than two minutes. Just plug in the RCA and speaker cable, connect to AUX, and you’re done. The side controls for bass, treble, and volume make it super easy to fine‑tune the sound exactly how you like it, and the included remote is a nice bonus for quick adjustments. The classic wood finish is honestly beautiful. It gives the speakers a premium look that blends perfectly with home décor — they look way more expensive than they actually are. Even though they don’t have Bluetooth, the dual AUX inputs make it simple to connect multiple devices without constantly switching cables. For the price, these speakers are unbeatable. Great sound, great build, great design. If you want high‑quality audio without spending a fortune, this is absolutely the one to get.

Exceeded Expectations - Great set of monitors to use. I travel with these.

Good bass, smooth quality and sounds perfect. - Pretty good quality for the price it’s very versatile and compatible with almost everything

Edifier R1280T powered speakers - Great sounding powered speakers. Has adjustable bass and treble and volume. Nice woodgrain look bookshelf speakers. 45 watts. I got these hooked up to a Yamaha receiver. Sounds great. I would recommend these speakers.

Speakers - Excellent speakers , great performance.grat quality

Awesome sound - These are little powerhouses. Could not be happier with them. The only thing I would have liked to see is Bluetooth.

Just what I was looking for - I like the size, style, sound quality, ease of use and price of this product.

Great value, and great sound - Speakers are solid, with great sound. The price was reasonable and delivery on point.

best desktop speakers ive heard, game changers - man i wasnt really expecting much given how affordable these edifier r1280ts are compared to some of the crazy high end studio monitors out there, but these things completely blew me away the second i hooked them up to my setup. right out of the box the build quality feels way nicer than the price tag suggests. that retro wood grain side paneling paired with the gray mesh grill gives it this classic vintage look that sits on a desk or bookshelf looking like a piece of high end furniture instead of some cheap plastic computer speakers that just collect dust. setting everything up takes like five minutes tops. you literally just plug the power cable in, run the included heavy duty connecting wire from the active speaker to the passive one, and plug your audio source in. they give you a couple cables in the box too which is always nice so you dont gotta go hunting around for extra wires just to get started. i mostly use mine wired directly to my pc setup for daily listening, casual gaming, and watching movies, but having dual rca inputs means you can easily hook up a turntable or your phone at the same time without constantly unplugging stuff. now lets talk about the actual sound because thats what really matters. for a pair of compact 2.0 active monitors packing 42 watts rms, the audio clarity is just insane. mids and highs are super crisp and clear, vocals sound rich and warm without getting muddy even when you push the volume up, and acoustic tracks or synth heavy stuff sounds so immersive. instruments have actual separation instead of just blending into a wall of noise like what you get from cheap desktop soundbars. the bass is surprisingly punchy considering the size of the drivers too. its not going to rattle your floorboards like a dedicated massive subwoofer or anything, but for a bedroom, office, or small apartment living room, it hits with plenty of depth and warmth. plus, having physical dials right there on the side of the active speaker for master volume, bass, and treble lets you tweak the sound profile easily on the fly without having to mess around with software eq settings every time a different song comes on. you can easily dial in a bit more warmth or crispness depending on what youre listening to. the little wireless remote control is also a surprisingly clutch feature that i use way more than i thought i would. being able to just mute the audio instantly when someone walks in or turn the volume up and down from across the room without leaning over my desk is super convenient. ive put these through the paces with everything from classical movie scores to heavy electronic music and classic rock, and they handle all of it like absolute champs without distortion or clipping at normal to moderately high listening levels. if you are on the fence about grabbing these, just do it. they punch way above their weight class, look gorgeous, and deliver clean, room filling audio without breaking the bank. honestly one of the best tech purchases ive made in a long time and i have zero regrets whatsoever.

Perfect sound - I love the way these speakers sound. There a perfect addition to my desk setup. Easy to connect to my monitor, it’s just a simple plug and play.

Awesome budget speakers - Sounds amazing for the price. They look way more expensive than they are. Perfect entry level desk speakers

Boolshelf Speakers on a desktop - I like these speakers for their looks, and the sound quality, with a slight reservation. Being that they are attached to my desktop computer, I don't give them a true "Audiophile" test. I do listen to an occasional email with an audio attachment, but I do not play stored tunes or play music CD's or DVD's. I suspect, would I change my habits, I would like the sound quality. I replaced a much smaller pair of computer speakers which I would have never used for serious audio.

Great sound! - I love the sound range these speakers give you not to mention the sound quality and the loudness it produces. Excellent!!

Great speakers - Great quality sound like legit studio speakers would recommend

Speakers - Love them. Sounds really good with my record player.
