Great remake! - It’s an amazing game with a wonderful story line. If you are looking where to start with Dragon Quest this is it. This is the prequel to 1&2 and will help you get started with the Dragon Quest storyline. It makes you appreciate how far along we’ve come from the original on the NES. It’s a must have for Dragon Quest lovers.

Great game! - The HD remake it’s awesome! Maintained then quality of the old one with new quality of life features! Really recommended, even for new audience!

Classic Renewed - The game is great! The nostalgia feeling with the new aspects of the game makes this a classic renewed and needs to be purchased!

The game so good that it changed Japanese laws - Dragon Quest 3 is the Ur JRPG, the one that truly defined the genre early on and whose initial release caused so many in Japan to skip work and school that the government asked Enix to release them on weekends in the future. This is a fantastic remake of a classic, with a lot of sanding off of frustrating aspects from an older game. That said, it's still a remake of a 30+ year old NES game. Don't expect a huge epic story. Instead expect a lot of fun smaller quest and locales to visit along the way. Combat is as classic as it comes and is very enjoyable if you like classic turn based combat. And my god is this a gorgeous game. They really made it feel like a little diarama with each dungeon and town you visit.

Fun Dragon Quest - Great game, fun time, small grind 5 Metal Slimes outta 5

An Absolute Classic - A gorgeous retelling of one of the all time greats! Dragon Quest is the Pinnacle of the classic RPG experience, building on a perfecting it throughout the years

Quality title - Has fun, intersting gameplay with a true classic feel and experience!

What's old is new again - It's Dragon Quest 3 almost exactly as you remember it. Just a little prettier.
