Black ink cartridge - Purchased a Brother printer and it came with a full set of ink cartridges. There are pros and cons with the ink. PRO - cartridges last a long time and are easy to install. CON - ink is not that vibrant in color. They seem washed out, so I would hesitate to use them for anything that needs full color vibrancy. For common office use they are adequate.

consumer user - The Black cartridge did not perform consistently as a new cartridge. This was the second replacement cartridge on thisb printer. The prior one wrked well whereas this one sometimes skipped lines and or wasvprinting very lightly. At other times it prints well it is very erratic. Geek squad has suggested I breing the printer in to be inspected and serviced. after they tried to remotely reinstakll drivers and adjust settings with no change.
