Customer reviews
Write a reviewAtari Gamestation - Great games, great graphics , good price Takes me back to my youth! Hours of fun….and no quarters to keep playing!
Nostalgia - Has plenty of Atari games with previews as you go through the list. Turns off if you forget to do it yourself.
DOES NOT HAVE PONG - It has a ton of games but not Pong. It's great that you can hook it up to your TV if you have additional controllers. It's a good size. But it doesn't save any of your player information. Good for traveling with since it doesn't use wifi and has a loooonnnnggggg battery life. It's very durable.
Fun games, bad product support - The My Arcade Atari Gamestation Go has fun games on it, solid selection. The handheld itself is plastic build, not the best materials or screen but for the price I got on sale not terrible. Software isn’t great outside the games, I am not able to update to the latest firmware due to the batter being unable to charge past 50% so I am stuck on update 1.10 as of now. I have not been able to get any support for this issue and I got the device under 2 months ago. Still works will plugged into power so at least usable. Trackball not the best but works and fun to use with the supported games. Spinner is decent. Nice to have the unique Atari control options, best part of this device. Games run ok, better than when I got it after the first update for vector games and some aspect ration issues but I haven’t been able to try the latest update to see if that helped further as some games had weird issues initially.
My Favorite Retro Games - I love retro games. I used to play a few of them when I was in college. This has most of my favorites. Missile Command, Space Invaders, Lunar Lander, Pac-Man, and Pong are just a few. If it just had Joust and Donkey Kong, I would be very happy. That being said, this has my favorite retro games in a portable package that I can carry anywhere.
Blast from the past. - Old school games at its best. Love the size and comfort.
Good selection of Atari throwbacks - Great selection of classic Atari games. Would have liked to see more 7800 games, though.
Fantastic - Vday gift. This device has so many fun throw back games. Has to be updated to lastest version via wifi. After its updated no wifi needed just play and enjoy.
Awesome - Lovw all the options of old amd newer games. My 11 year ild som loves it also.
Good retro nostalgia. Needs improvement. - Good for retro gaming. The games provided on the device are nice. I bought it mostly for a convenient way to play the recharged series which are great. Design of the controls with the light up feature is really neat. I was disappointed the device started with unofficial Dreamcast emulation support, but then silently dropped the support after an update. Very disappointing! I bought the unit as a way to enable playing Dreamcast games on a Hotel TV while traveling. Sigh. Unboxing experience is nice if you are into that.
