ASUS – RP-BE58 BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 AiMesh Range Extender – White

ASUS wi-fi 7 range extender - We used the ASUS-RPBE58 BE3600 wi-fi 7 Range Extender to allow use of a PC from a Xfinity wi-fi gateway (unsure if wi-fi 7 compatible) from the house to a detached garage. It worked fairly well with an intermittent weak "yellow" signal, then turned "red" later from a loss of signal. The unit was then moved a little closer to the wi-fi gateway, which restored service to the garage location. At this time, it's working as designed though we're not sure it is utilizing all of the wi-fi 7 advantages. We do understand an extender won't work a well as a unified mesh system, but for a single user at the remote location, the ASUS extender does the job, with a bit of tweaking the distance from the main router and the destination location.

It helped! - I was struggling in my bedroom for Internet with just my Wi-Fi seven router, so got this little guy plugged into the wall, set it up real quick, and the Asus app, and it’s been great since. I only gave four stars because every once in a while I have a quick hiccup where the service drops a little bit, but outside of that, it’s been great.

Just Terrible! - Keeps disconnecting from the Wi-Fi router, has a weak signal, and cannot maintain a stable connection for even two days. It is unreliable and does not perform as expected.

Nevermind I'm going to have to return it soon caus - Seems like a good device if i wasn't going to have to return it

Excellent Extender - works fine where i need it , easy setup and connects to me asus router fine

How amazing the product is - No complaints at alll amazing product quality and great wifi

Game changer - This definitely helped improve my WiFi expansion in my home and expanded my network and i love the backhaul feature which allowed me to hardwire Ethernet to it from my main router.

wifi extender - it worked for the first time but stopped extending after abit. overall it was okay i just didn’t know how to really set it up properly

Wi-Fi extender - Works very well at extending Wi-Fi past the range of the wireless router

Amazing - It was easy to setup, great performance, amazing distance for strength!

Works like a chap - Had a little trouble configuring over the air (AirMesh), then noted they recommended wired. Reset and boom! Worked. Simplified my WiFi connectivity. Wife and kids no longer complain about having to change SSIDs

Would Have Worked - It didn't fix my problem. I plugged it in and my problem still existed .

Incredible - This is great! My kids told me to get this and I am so glad I did. Our exterior walls are 6 inch cement with chicken wire and it was compromising our wi-fi reception for outdoor cameras, phones, TVs etc. This fixed everything annd it was so easy. Absolutely no problems now. I am very happy.

Excellent Extender - This hooked up to my router almost seamlessly, but I've since replaced it with a BE58-Go travel router. Both devices are easy to manage with the ASUS Extender or Router app, and I will recommend checking for firmware updates regularly. You can even upload firmware that you download from ASUS's Download Center manually too, which is convenient.

Works well - I hesitated because of other reviews and honestly struggled at first with connecting it but realized I could easily add it as a node and havent had a single issue since, good range and puts out good speed. Most reviews mentioned having a disconnect issue when main router reboots or updates but I have not experienced this at all.

Worked good for about a week - Set up this device for extra range and set it up as a mesh node using an Asus router, and it worked right away and it actually worked great for a week. The speeds we’re about 80-90% of the router speeds even through walls and distance. About a week later it just stopped working, I reset it via the button on the side, and attempted setting it up again via the app, and even through the Asus web console and no response. The device just says red. Rebooted my router and no change. Was very impressed at first. I probably just got unlucky with my device, but for the price I wouldn’t want to try it again with another one. I’ll probably just get a similar Asus router to what I have, and set it up as a wired mesh node

I have it in the yard and the tv works better - Wi fi extender. Well worth it. A great device for streaming.

Working great - I'm using it with an older ASUS ZenWiFi XT9 mesh. Basically to get a better connection for the Roku TV that lives mostly in 3 season room; but I also move it outside for movie/baseball watching from our pool. No issues getting it integrated and the connection has been great!

Hit or miss - good signal but you cannot troubleshoot using the app. you have to unplug it to reset it

This is exactly what we were looking for! - We had an issue with spotty reception and this extender solved our problem and doesn't take up too much room.
