Worked well but only for 6 months - The monitor worked well for about 6 months before developing some white horizontal lines that show up on lighter backgrounds and don’t go away even with a pixel refresh. This isn’t the gray banding vertical lines most people hear about but rather a totally different issue affecting about 1/4th of the display from the top of the screen downwards. It seems like a board hardware failure. I’m in the process of getting a warranty replacement through geek squad. If you’re going to buy this monitor you’ll want that geek squad warranty. A monitor this expensive should not have a hardware failure this early on. I know of at least 3 people this has happened to now.

Customer reviews
Write a reviewasus 2k 540 hz monitor - it’s really good with its glossy panel and oled care
good enough - Still need to enhance tho thing at bottoms so it can conveniently put on table and save some space
Absolutely amazing Quality!! - Absolutely incredible product. Hands down the best monitor I’ve ever bought. Was it expensive? Yes. Is it 100% worth every penny? YES!
Emissive Supremacy, Stochastic Manufacturing Risk - Great monitor for gaming. Super smooth and the black is really black. Way better than my old ones. Check the screen for gray lines when you get it.
The absolute best of gaming monitor - Man, I seriously cannot stop talking about this monitor. I picked up the ASUS ROG Swift 27" Dual Mode OLED at Best Buy, and honestly, the whole experience from start to finish was just top-tier. First off, the pickup process at Best Buy was smooth and super professional. The staff there were awesome, friendly, and had me in and out in no time with my gear safely secured. Shoutout to them for making it such a breeze! As for the monitor itself? Absolute game-changer. I knew it was going to be good on paper with that 2K 540Hz (and HD 720Hz!) dual-mode setup and 0.02ms response time, but seeing it in person is something else entirely. The OLED colors are so rich and deep, and the motion clarity is unreal—everything looks and feels insanely buttery smooth, whether you're playing fast-paced shooters or just taking in gorgeous graphics. If you're on the fence about dropping the money on this beast, do yourself a huge favor and just go get it. You will not regret it. Highly, highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking to upgrade their setup!
End Game OLED Monitor - This monitor is great! The speed is insane for the games that I can run it and the HDR quality is great with TB500.
Best monitor hands down - Monitor is a bit on the expensive side but worth it in my opinion
Fantastic - Been using this for 1 month exactly and it's been perfect. The OLED is beautiful, the dual mode refresh rates are so smooth, and I haven't had any issues at all. It's a little pricey but the payout is worth it if you have the money to spare
Stunning coming from a Samsung Odyssey G7 - The vividness and the brightness difference between my original monitor and this is night and day, and while I do miss the 1000R curve The jump from 240 to 500 plus hz and the overall feature set is definitely makes me a happy buyer
Great product. Fast reliable, easy to set up. Great for gaming.
The best monitor - This is the best monitor in the market, great display, beautiful oled, very good refresh rate and tons ons of options for oled longevity
Perfect - This has to be the best monitor I ever laid eyes on. My wife was so mad at me for this purchase I made. But the monitor looks so beautiful she don’t care anymore and using rn as we speak lol
Best monitor in the world - No issues whatsoever. 540hz with this level of color quality and brightness is just unbelievable. A pure pleasure to look at and game on everyday. The glossy coating is also beautiful. It’s truly and end game monitor for 1440p gaming right now. I’ve had mine about a month and absolutely love it. Coming from a 240hz OLED that’s about 1.5 years old, the tandem 4th Gen OLED makes it look almost like a different technology entirely. I primarily play CS2, and with a 4080 and 9850X3D I’m pushing 500+ frames at 1920x1440 4-3 stretched. Feels like a dream. Single player AAA titles like Cyberpunk with everything maxed out almost looks like it was from the future. I’ve never in person seen this level of detail and color quality. This monitor has the capability to get brighter than you absolutely will ever need it. If they weren’t nearly $1200, I’d buy a second to replace my older monitor 2nd monitor, but they’re worth every penny. Personally I don’t use the 720p 720hz mode, the drop off in resolution is just too much for me. Kinda pointless feature for most users I would imagine, but it’s there for those that want it. 10/10 for me. I have no grey banding issues whatsoever, and have had Asus monitors and components for years, and have had nothing but good things to say. Coming from a monitor that wasn’t quite at this level of a “flagship”product, it’s mind blowing to use this thing everyday.
An Incredible Competitive Gaming Monitor - I’ve gone through quite a few different setups over the years, starting with ultrawide gaming monitors, then moving to an LG CX 48", and most recently an LG C5 42". I’ve always preferred larger OLED displays for gaming, but I play a lot of competitive titles and decided it was finally worth trying a monitor specifically designed around high-refresh competitive gaming. After spending some time with this ASUS, I’m genuinely impressed. The 540Hz refresh rate is honestly unreal. I was a little skeptical about whether I would actually notice a meaningful difference compared with the displays I was coming from, but the overall responsiveness and smoothness are immediately noticeable. I’ve especially noticed the difference in competitive games like CS2, where quick reactions and tracking matter so much. It has made the competitive gaming experience feel noticeably better for me. The picture quality is also excellent, and I really like the overall aesthetics of the monitor. It looks much more premium in person than I expected, and the OLED panel delivers the kind of image quality I’ve become accustomed to with my LG OLED displays. One thing I did notice initially was some gray banding, but after a few days of normal use it completely went away. At this point, it’s essentially nonexistent and I haven’t had any concerns with it. There’s no getting around the fact that this is an expensive monitor. The price is definitely steep, but you’re also paying for some pretty cutting-edge display technology, especially the combination of OLED, 540Hz at 1440p, and the ability to go even higher in the lower-resolution mode. For someone who primarily plays casual or single-player games, I’m not sure I could justify the price. For competitive gaming, though, I think it makes much more sense. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with this monitor. Coming from high-end LG OLED televisions, I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed by a dedicated gaming monitor, but the 540Hz refresh rate has genuinely improved my experience in competitive games. If you’re serious about competitive gaming and want every advantage you can reasonably get, this is a monitor I would highly recommend. The combination of responsiveness, OLED image quality, and high refresh rate makes it a very impressive piece of technology.
Awesome but - I was very happy with this product so far. true glossy black oled pannels have been something that i feel in love with and dont see myself without anymore. If you are on the fence with buying this monitor or a parent thinking about buying for their child I will give one piece of advice. Unless you can run the games being played at these refresh rates its not worth it and will be like 95% of game you play you cant run at this refresh rate. So unless you have a RTX 5080 OR 5090 I dont think this monitor is worth for your average buyer and its not that much of an increase compared to a 240hz display or 360hz display. DONT LISTEN TO THE YOUTUBERS they tend to overexaggerate in their reviews for clicks and affiliate purchases. There are some CPU heavy games you can play more on like CSGO or Valorant that this monitor is obviously more made for but still i think its worth noting that most people will not get this performance and dont fall for the hype unless the price is below $850 its not worth IMO. I have enjoyed it since I play these games and my GPU and CPU can run it I really bought it because I just wanted to have a high end monitor and see how far I can push my 5080. I also bought it because I have had the same monitors for like 8 years and was due for an upgrade.
Greatest Monitor you can get right now. - This monitor is different from anything else. If you have the money, get it. you wint regret it
Great monitor - It has an awsome image quality black looks amazing on it and brightness is good too, i had a bit of an issue with flicker its not too bad but every once in a while it is noticeable that it will flicker.
El mejor - Best oled quality and the best performance. Best oled quality and the best performance. Best oled quality and the best performance.
Amazing, but with one caveat - Very nice product. No problems whatsoever. If you’re willing to spend the big bucks for the best of the best, then it’s a perfect fit. However, if you don’t have a top of the line pc, like at least a 5070 TI, then you’re probably not going to utilize this monitors 540 refresh rate. And there’s other monitors that are cheaper and may fit your pc’s specs better. Overall, if you have the money and a good enough pc or you just want to future proof, then this is the best money can buy at this time.
