Excellent PC, A+ - I just recently bought this pc, and I am blown away how good it is. This is my first time purchasing this brand, and from my experience so far, it is a great build. It is powerful, fast, and can do any type of task you can think of. I would 100% recommend this pc to anyone who's on the fence about upgrading. This pc handles gaming flawlessly, and if you like to edit your gaming videos or any demanding tasks, no issues with it at all. There are ports to add some upgrades as well if that is your thing. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Write a reviewBest gift ever! - Its a wonderful product, it lights up really nice and has hardly ny noise and the speed is so quick.
The best Desktop - If you are a Pro Player , you need to buy this desktop
Excellent, good quality… 10/10 - For streaming playing game is the best thing ever I have, I will recommend it
Predator Orion - It’s a great pc right out of the box. Easy too set up and too use. Comes with a mouse and keyboard which is nice to have. Don’t have anything that I dislike.
A Powerhouse of a PC with lots of cooling! - Love it and Love everything about it. It runs quietly, Cooling is great, it doesnt go over 37°c when idling and even when gaming it remains cool. Every game ive thrown at it and stressed on it has shown this will be a very capable rig for a good long time. Has amazing Performance and I waited for it to go on sale before getting it.
Very good pc - Runs everything I need with flawless performance would recommend.
Powerhouse - I'm not a gamer, I'm a super multitasker and sometimes have 8 different browser windows with sometimes 50 to 100 tabs open per browser, not to mention all the streaming, downloading various movies to my vast collection. My previous rig was Acer Predator Orion 3000 and it worked great. But due to some glitches I made in the BIOS settings, I got the BSOD and Microsoft nor Acer was able to troubleshoot it. After 2 days I decided to use my wife's PC and came across this one. It was a little pricey, on the other hand it was well worth the investment. I've been using Windows desktops since 98' and this machine is huge! 35lbs of nothing but highend hardware. I'm extremely happy with it. Not one single lag or problem. I added my external HDD and SSD drives and everything is in sync. I can assure that both heavy gamers or power multitaskers will be happy with this model. I did the math and it would cost more to build one with the same specs. I'm still going to keep my original Acer and reinstall Windows using a USB stick, to have as a back up. But as far as this beast of a machine goes, I give it 5 stars for the entire setup. If you are lucky enough to buy one, you'll be very happy.
5070 gaming pc - Great for the price, building it on your own will come out about the same. Definitely worth it
bought for husband - he loves it so far i dont know anything about games but he said he would get it for my son when we save up the ,money
Gamer computer - Awesome! We love the colors. It’s super good, it has a good graphics card. Make sure you have a good monitor to keep up with the PC. Good price for the graphics card.
Quiet, fast, and looks great - Bought this for my son. So my review is based on what he has told me. He loves how quiet it is. The speed is perfect for his gaming. I like how nice it looks on his desk. Overall great purchase.
Great Pre-Built PC - Best bang for the buck Gaming PC very good pc for the price i got mine on sale so got it almost $1,000 cheaper than normal but it is definitely worth the money regardless highly recommend
Decent price, great computer - It has great performance for League and WOW, and looks aesthetically pleasing.
Amazing pc - Absolutely love my new pc. I’m able to play every game perfect at the best graphics. The speed is unmatched as well!!!
Great Gaming Machine for the Today's Money - I have been building my own PCs for close to forty years now and have only ever owned a handful of prebuilt models. I have always enjoyed the hand selection of components and building process that also came with a cheaper price tag as a result of my effort. Well, those days are gone (for now anyways) and what Acer has brought to the table with the Predator Orion is something that I am proud to own that isn't my creation. The Orion Predator with the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF and RTX 5070 is a fantastic gaming machine that easily dominates for more mundane tasks like web surfing or Microsoft Office. There is a lot of power here and 1440p gaming is a 'Go' if you keep game settings a tad more conservative. The 12GB VRAM model does hamstring the card a bit in certain titles especially when you crank up ray tracing and DLSS capabilities. Crazy to me that Acer didn't go with the 16GB VRAM variant, but prices for memory probably put it out of reach. It also puts 4K gaming a bit out there, but really you would want to look further up the line if that is your target. This machine is a 1440p gaming machine. Period. On the memory, it should be noted that the Kingston RAM is XMP compliant, but the machine does not ship with it enabled. I recommend for those who feel confident enough to hop into the BIOS to enable the feature as you will get a nice bump in memory performance for the effort. Not sure why Acer chose to leave it off. That said, you would be hard pressed to build a machine for the same money and what Acer brings to the table is a an easily expandable, good looking gaming machine that is well built and comes with a warranty. The machine is liquid cooled with a 240mm AIO and temps were always under control at full load without sounding like a hair dryer. Lighting is also adjustable if you don't want the machine screaming the gaming vibe to everyone. The machine has a good selection of parts from brands like Gigabyte, Kingston, and Lexar so the machine should last for years to come. Overall, this is a great machine from Acer and the Predator Orion should be on your short list in these new AI times that have destroyed the RAM and storage market.
Excellent machine at a great price - I've built computers for most of my life, it's rare that I find one I care enough about that's pre-built that hasn't cut the corner in some way, but I appreciate the few times I've been proven wrong. Acer isn't always known as the highest end of machines, but I have to say this is a very well built machine. Packaging: To start, it's packaged well, thick foam in a double walled cardboard box, comes with a mouse and keyboard and some minor documentation, nothing to write home about here. Use: It's a quick machine, it may not be the highest of high ends, but it's definitely on the upper end of gaming machines. With the 5070 and the Intel Core Ultra 7, it's right there in that high-end gaming bracket, and for the price, they set it there quite nicely and within reach. Something I appreciate that most people wont notice is that this uses quality name brand components. The motherboard is made by Gigabyte, the RAM is Kingston Fury, the graphics card is Gigabyte, I havent removed the shroud from the power supply but it uses standard pinouts. As for the performance, it's excellent, with a high end processor and high end graphics card, there's nothing you need to do to play games at maximum settings. When loading up fortnite, minecraft, BeamNG, Roblox, and any other game you can imagine, it also detects at the highest settings and everything runs smooth. With the 5070 it's also capable of GSYNC which my monitor can do to allow for frame sync to eliminate tearing. I don't "love" the keyboard, but the lighting effects when you type are kinda neat, but to me the key form factor is a little odd. But you dont buy a computer for the keyboard so it's not worth taking off any points. For the price and performance i basically couldn't build this any cheaper, especially with RAM prices the way they are today. Overall: Well worth the money, brand name parts, great performance, nice looking case and color scheme. Definitely worth your time.
Cool, Quiet, and Powerful - The Acer Predator Orion is a step up into the big leagues of Gaming PC desktops . The specs were as impressive as the well designed RGB accents ranging from the fans, to the CPU, to the Memory, and the inside of the case. I was curious to see how it would handle gaming on my 1440p monitor in terms of performance and cooling and it didn't disappoint. Across a range of games and benchmarks it stayed cool and quiet. Here's the whole experience from unboxing to performance. - Unboxing - The box is big and the packing is well padded so the machine shows up with proper protection. Inside is the gaming desktop, power cord, Wi-Fi antenna, and documentation. There's no assembly, it's a complete system ready to plug in. Acer also includes a wired keyboard and a mouse, and they're much better than the throwaway peripherals you usually expect bundled with a desktop. Both keyboard and mouse have RGB. The full 10-key wired keyboard is comfortable to type on, and has good travel. It's membrane, not mechanical, but it comfortable. The wired mouse has the 2 extra buttons on the side we need for gaming, and the middle button and scroll wheel. - Design & Build - This a good sized tower and the size definitely has its advantages in regards to cooling. The front of the unit has a removable mesh panel with 3 RGB fans behind it and the Predator badge at the bottom. The left side is tempered glass so you get a good view of the internals. There's accent lighting everywhere without being too loud. The Predator logo glows on the CPU block, the memory has RGB, the three front fans carry RGB accents, there's a strip across the bottom of the case, and even the Predator logo on the back panel has accents worked into it. The CPU runs on a closed loop liquid cooler with a top-mounted radiator and dual fans, with a rear exhaust fan helping to pump out any heat. This unit is easy to maintain and service. The front panel comes off, the tempered glass panel snaps on/off easily, there's a magnetic dust screen on top, and a dust tray at the bottom that can be removed for cleaning. On the back of the tower, there's a mix of old/new connections to support a variety of devices. There are a couple of USB 2.0 ports, a PS/2 combo port, two USB 3.2 ports, a 2.5G Ethernet on a red jack, a connection for your Wi-Fi antenna, Line in, Line out, and mic jacks. The RTX 5070 handles video with three DisplayPorts and HDMI port. - Specs & Features - CPU - The Processor is an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF with 20 cores (8 performance and 12 efficiency), up to 5.5 GHz and 125 Watts. The performance cores handle the games while the efficiency cores handle the background work. There are no integrated graphics and all the video runs through the GPU. I actually prefer this because on a desktop I want full graphics power. GPU - The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 with 12 GB of GDDR7 handles the gaming. In my opinion, this is the highlight of the system. It can handle AI, Gaming, or any type of Content creation you throw at it. I believe the sweet spot is 1440p but it can handle anything including 4K gaming. Memory - There's 32GB DDR5-6000. 32GB is plenty for gaming and multitasking. Make sure XMP is enabled to get the full power. Storage - There's a 1TB NVME SSD. This is adequate space, but you will likely add more once you start downloading your game library. Fortunately, there's another M.2 slot for expansion. There are also SATA cables tucked away neatly if you want to add a HDD or SSD. Connectivity includes the latest technology, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 to give you fast wireless networking and a solid Bluetooth connection for peripherals. What I like about Wi-Fi 7 is the 6 GHz channel. Operating System - It comes with Windows 11 Home NPU - This is a dedicated chip for AI tasks. The Intel NPU that will offload work from the CPU and GPU. Cooling/Airflow - Cooling is very well done. There's a closed-loop liquid cooler with a top-mounted radiator and dual fans. Moving heat straight to the radiator is a big reason the CPU stays cool and the system stays quiet under load. There are 3 intake fans and a rear exhaust fan. This setup helps pull in cool air and push warm air out. For a desktop, I found the Acer Predator Orion very cool and quiet, even sitting right next to me. You will forget it's even there sometimes. Display Outputs - You can setup multiple monitors with the RTX 5070. There are three display ports and one HDMI. - Performance - I couldn't wait to test the Acer Predator Orion and see what it could do. I started by playing Hades 2, and it stayed pinned at my monitor's 180fps cap while the GPU sat around 45 to 50 C, and the CPU ran cool at 40 to 43 C, hardly breaking a sweat. The next game I tried out was Wuchang Fallen Feathers and this hit the hardware a little harder averaging 125 fps with the GPU at 65C and the CPU at 60C. Lastly I loaded up Crew Motor fest and it ran the GPU at 53C and the CPU at 48C. The theme was it could handle everything with ease, and the temps stayed low. *Benchmarks This machine absolutely dominated the benchmarks. It's more than capable for AI and high performance gaming with high framerates. It's impressive how cool and quiet it is, even under stress. Time Spy: 21,229 (Graphics 22513, CPU 16044) Time Spy Extreme: 10,909 (Graphics 10768, CPU 11785) Speedway: 5,979 Steel Nomad: 5,297 Port Royal: 14,479 (Graphics test 67 FPS) A few old school Benchmarks Fire Strike: 43,887 (graphics 56,670, physics 45,827, combined 15,929) I've never seen a score this high on any of my past gaming computers. Fire Strike Extreme: 28,282 (graphics 29195, physics 46,325, combined 8,038) Geekbench 6 CPU: 3,159 single-core, 20959 multi-core GPU: (OpenCL): 195,497 Cinebench 2026 CPU:535 single-thread, 6,949 multi-thread GPU: 75,017 SSD Storage CrystalDiskMark 5,878 Read, 4,942 MB/s write sequential - Upgrades & Expansion - There are four DIMM slots, two are filled with 16GB modules, this leaves two slots open for adding more RAM down the line. This board has two M.2 slots, one running at PCIe 5.0 and one at PCIe 4.0. This leaves one slot for another SSD. There are also additional SATA cables if you want to add additional drive space. - Pros/Cons - *Pros* * Runs cool across the board, CPU is especially cool thanks to liquid cooling * Quiet with gentle fan ramp * Strong 1440p gaming performance * RGB is everywhere but tasteful, and tinted glass gives it a clean look * Easy to clean with removable panels, filters, trays * WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, 2.5G Ethernet * Bundled keyboard and Mouse are quality * Room to expand *Suggestions/Needs Improvement* * Must be careful with tempered glass * Small Motherboard * I would like to see a couple more USB-C slots The Acer Predator Orion is an easy machine to recommend to someone who wants cool, quiet performance. It handles gaming with ease, stays cool, and barely makes a sound while doing it. The design is aesthetically sharp and well engineered. I would recommend this machine to anyone for gaming, AI, content creation, and productivity.
Decent Gaming System - Acer has released their Predator Orion gaming desktop. The particular model I have comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD. These specs put this model into the lower part of the mid-level of gaming desktops. Processor: The processor is good and holds the middle ground for the Intel Core Ultra processors. With a bump up in cores from the Core Ultra 5 and a higher frequency, it does help with resource intensive games. I see a performance increase a little when comparing an FPS on a similar system that only has a Core Ultra 5 CPU, but the same GPU and amount of RAM. GPU: The RTX 5070 is a really good GPU. The mark was missed a little by ACER on the version of the 5070. The RTX 5070 comes with only 12GB of VRAM whereas the 5070Ti comes with 16GB. The difference of 4GB of VRAM doesn’t sound like much, but it has a big impact on graphic intensive games like first person shooters. The choice of the 5070 instead of the 5070Ti might be due to the situation with GPUs getting very expensive starting back in 2025 and continuing on through this point in time (June 2026). The use of the RTX 5070 would help Acer to keep the overall cost of the system down by hundreds of dollars. So this choice by Acer is likely due to that. Regardless, the 5070 GPU is, as mentioned before, really good. For people who would be looking at a system with these specs, the GPU (5070 vs 5070Ti) isn’t likely to be a problem even with running an FPS like Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, etc. There is a difference, but not necessarily worth the increased price what a 5070Ti would bring. Other Components: The system’s motherboard I think could be a little better, but with many components, the chip/GPU shortages causing increased prices means Acer has to do what they can to keep overall system price down. I give Acer credit for doing what they can in this environment with the shortages and price hikes. The NVMe SSD is a 1TB Gen 4 SSD. The case is good. I wouldn’t say great, but is certainly more than good enough to have really good airflow. It has a filter on the top and bottom of the case, comes with a water cooler for the CPU, RGB fan lighting, RGB RAM lighting, a glass side panel, and USB ports and headset jack on the top of the case. The airflow over the GPU is also good. The motherboard has built-in WiFi and comes with an external antenna to connect to it. The location of the antenna connector is just below the LAN port. It would have been better for that to be reversed so the antenna connector is above the LAN port. The motherboard could have used more USB ports. There is a PS/2 port on the motherboard. I’m not sure why they thought it needed one in 2026. Maybe some people still want to use old keyboards or mice, although I don’t know any gamer who does. Final Thoughts: Overall, the system runs FPS and RTS games well for the specs. Acer is having to jump through hoops to bring us systems like this. It’s just the situation with the environment where there are shortages and crazy price hikes for GPUs, SSDs, etc. This is an option for someone looking to get a lower end mid-level system in this environment. If you are looking for something with a Core Ultra 7 CPU and a 5070 series GPU, then put this on your list of considerations.
Colossus sized machine inside and out. - This is a great machine and once you get past the massive size of the case, you will appreciate it. This machine is liquid cooled and has 6 fans to keep the system operating even at extreme stress. After 30 minutes of a stress test, the GPU was pushing 293 fps @ 100% GPU usage and the temperature only reached 70°C and the VRAM temperature was only 56°C. I was surprised that the fans kept it cool and never heard an audible fan noise. Intel 20-Core Ultra 7 265KF : Architecture: 20 Cores (8 P-Cores + 12 E-Cores) / 20 Threads; Clock Speeds: Up to 5.5 GHz Max Turbo. Fully unlocked for overclocking. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070: Built on the Blackwell architecture, the 5070 features 12GB of GDDR7 video memory. It supports DLSS 4.5 and advanced neural rendering to maximize frame rates while meeting demanding graphical requirements. Conclusion: The wire management and inside of the case is very clean and organized, you only see what you want to see, lights, lights and more lights. With a system that includes a 20-core Intel Ultra 7 265KF CPU and has the GeForce RTX 5070 with 32GB DDR5, it can take on the most demanding games.
