8BitDo – Ultimate 2.4G Wireless Controller for Android, iOS, Windows and Steam Deck with Hall Effect Joysticks – Black

Budget controller for a good price - I needed a good controller that was not too cheap material-wise yet not expensive. This one fits perfectly with my needs and is Windows 11 plug and play. It registers as a Xbox 360 controller but it works without issues for me.

One of the best controllers for PC - Simple but great! Nothing fancy but doesn’t need to be! Feels great in the hands, buttons respond great. The dock is a great bonus

Amazing controller - Amazing controlker for cheaper price ti the normal name brand controllers well worth the buy if you arent worried for the life of the controller

Pretty good terrible software - Controller is awesome Software is garbage but over a decent buy

Great Controller - After spending quite an amount of time with Windows and my Xbox controller, it was made apparent that my Bluetooth would always have some lag. Then I got this controller, and with it, it's own wireless channel. Now I have no lag and I can play games with zero input delay. Controller feels and looks great too!

Dooooder! - Honestly, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4G for Android is a total game-changer. The build quality feels super premium, the d-pad and analog sticks are insanely precise, and the 2.4G connection means zero annoying input lag. Plus, having the charging dock ready to go makes it so effortless to pick up and play. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Good controller - Works like a dream only downside is mine broke less than a year

Great controller - It’s a great durable controller. I’ve been using it for a while and haven’t experienced any issues or stick drift.

Amazing controller for PC gaming. - Amazing controller for pc gaming! Absolutely recommended!

RT trigger - Was working perfectly for about 6 months with regular use but then RT trigger stopped working completely. Do with this what you will

Excellent addition to gaming PC - It was looking for a simple game controller that could dock and look nice with my gaming setup. The 8bitDo was perfect!

8BitDo wireless - This product works exactly as described. The weight and feel are nice.

Love it! - Great price on a good all around controller. Love the Hall Effect sticks and no more stick drift, and the wireless works prefect

Great PC Controller - I use this on my Asus gaming pc for my steam games and it has been working amazingly. No lag at all

8BitDo Ultimate 2.4 Wireless Controller - Works great, i use it as a bluetooth controller to play games and stuff on my phone which is a Samsung Z FOLD 7 and i love it, it works great!

Great wireless controller w/built in charger - Bought this for my steam deck to use while the steam deck is docked. I would say that it’s very straight plug-and-play, just removed the wireless connector from beneath the stand and plugged it into the dock. I also did have to turn on Bluetooth on the steam deck to get it to recognize the controller, but after that it’s been great! I love the built-in charger in the controller stand to allow easy charging while not playing. As soon as you remove the controller from the base, it automatically connects to the steam deck making it seamless to use. I also play/have xbox so this controller felt natural in my hands. Also feels very light weight compared to my Razor Wolverine wired controller. Overall would recommend if you want a wireless controller that you can charge without using batteries. Haven’t fully tested the life span of the battery, but I used it for a 4 hour gaming session and had no issues.

Bad Item -- Even Worse Company - I purchased this controller in February 2026 and immediately liked it. However, the right trigger began malfunctioning about a month ago. Upon further research, I found out that this is common issue with this particular controller. I then emailed 8BitDo two weeks ago about the issues with this controller. After not hearing from them, I sent a follow-up message a few days ago. A member of their support team offered to only send me a replacement rubber membrane to install inside of the controller, instead of sending me a replacement unit. This will be the first and last time that I ever use an 8BitDo product.

Excellent controller - Works great on my Ally, My Switch, and my Switch 2 flawless.

Great controller - Has a pretty decent battery life, performs well, I have left it face down many times and it still hasn’t developed stick drift. Amazing for the price and pc gaming.

Great controller but short life - It is a great controller that feels good in the hand and is responsive. But after only 6 months of use, the right trigger has stopped working properly and only delivers about 60% of the input that it should (measured through Steam).
