Best bang for the buck! - So much ram, a thin and super light build, a flagship processor who's CPU outperforms everyone, and a gorgeous OLED display! Originally I was tempted to get a panther lake laptop with the B390 arc graphics, but they were all $2500-3000, especially if you wanted an OLED display and 32GB of ram. This came out under $2000, had more ram, is lighter, and snappier thanks to the X2EE. Because it's so light, I don't even feel it when it's in my backpack. I wouldn't mind an extra bit of weight though to make that battery slightly bigger. Don't get me wrong, I get great battery life thanks to how efficient arm chips are, but I'm one of the crazy ones that likes to game on this and could use a slightly bigger battery, even though that adds weight. I'm in the minority though since most people aren't going to game as much as I did on this. The games I played on this consist of Cyberpunk, RoboCop, High on Life, GTA V, Fortnite, Deadzone Rogue, and occasionally I've played Halo Campaign Evolved. With Halo, you need everything on very low settings, but the same applies to my ROG Xbox Ally X, so I can't complain. AutoSR is the magic that makes gaming viable! When you have the resolution set to 1280x768(I don't know why there's no 800p) and activate AutoSR with standard mode on, you get decent playing experiences comparable to playing on a gaming handheld. On performance mode, you may get away with 1600x900(don't know why there's no 1000p or 1440x900 option) and have AutoSR give you an even clearer experience. Although with performance mode, I recommend being plugged in since it'll drain the battery in an hour or less. Hence why I selfishly wanted the bigger battery haha. Overall, a great premium laptop that ticks almost every box. You have a powerful CPU, future proof amount of ram, decent gaming performance unplugged, a gorgeous display for consumption, ridiculously light but premium build, and it undercuts everyone else!
Amazeballs - This is the best laptop I have ever owned, and I have been into computers since the 80s. Get one.
Great laptop! - Everything about this laptop has been great! From the battery to the screen. Still haven't found anything it cannot do. Strong processor, lots of ram and beautiful screen! Get really bright as well.
Best laptop I've ever owned - Hands down the best laptop I've ever owned. The touchscreen is amazing, very vibrant colors. Better life is top notch. Thus thing is blazing fast and had a crazy amount of RAM. I have been running some awesome llms locally with great success. You won't find a better deal for the price. Get one, you will not regret it.
Asus Snapdragon - Super long battery life and killer performance. This laptop rocks.
great product! - Very happy with the laptop for the quality of the materials, the speed of the Snapdragon x2 processor, and its responsiveness for multitasking...and I mustn't forget, the sound is excellent. Highly recommended.
M4 clone - Pros: - A lightweight laptop like the LG Gram at “16” - lots of power/speed like a MacBook Pro M4 or M5 - great battery life! - 48 GB RAM and 1 TB - no issues running software Tips: you can google for WoA and see what can run on the arm64
excellent upgrade to snapdragon x1 series - This might be the snappiest windows laptop I have ever used, battery life is where it should be unlike all the intel and amd laptops. This might be the first real contender to the apple silicon macs! there are still a few compatibiltiy issues with some apps on arm but it is getting significantly better!
Feels cheap - Very snappy processor. Maybe the fastest computer I've ever used. Was blown away by the speed. But I don't care for the material. It feels cheap. I don't like keyboard either. Screen is fine. Doesn't have any thunderbolt ports so I had to return it.
Almost Perfect, With One Big Design Miss - I’ve had this laptop for a little over a month now, so I’ve had some time to really use it and figure out what I love about it, as well as the few things I would change. Overall, I absolutely love it. I purchased the 16-inch model with the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme processor, 48GB of memory, 1TB of storage, and the 3K OLED touchscreen in Zabriskie Beige. I would give the overall design an 8/10. The Zabriskie Beige is absolutely beautiful in person and was one of the things that immediately drew me to this laptop. I also really like the material and feel of it. It doesn’t have that cold, heavy metal feeling that some premium laptops have, and despite having a large 16-inch screen, it is surprisingly lightweight. I can comfortably pick it up and carry it with one hand, which was important to me because I wanted a larger laptop without feeling like I was carrying around a brick. Interestingly, I originally did NOT want a touchscreen laptop. I didn’t think it was a feature I needed, but after actually having one, I’ve ended up loving it and using the touchscreen much more often than I expected. It has been very responsive and has turned into one of those features I’m really glad I have. Another unexpected feature I discovered was ASUS GlideX. It allows me to use devices I already own, including my phone, iPad, or another laptop, to mirror or extend my display. I’ve tested it and was honestly impressed. I had actually been planning to purchase a portable monitor for additional screen space, but GlideX gives me enough flexibility that I don’t feel like I need to buy one right now. I’ll definitely be utilizing this feature. I can’t give a fair assessment of the battery life under continuous all-day use yet because I haven’t used the laptop consistently enough on battery power to judge that. What I can say is that I’ve left it unplugged and unused for several days at a time, and when I’ve picked it back up, I’ve been pleased with how much battery it still had remaining. So far, I haven’t had any complaints about the battery. Now for the biggest reason I can’t give the design a 10/10: the keyboard. For a 16-inch laptop, I really don’t understand the decision to make the keyboard as compact as it is or to leave out a number pad. There is a lot of unused space on either side of the keyboard, yet the keys feel closer together than I would prefer, especially since I have larger hands. The lack of a number pad is an especially big disappointment for me. On a laptop this size, I expected one to be included. I actually ended up purchasing a separate Bluetooth number pad for an additional $19, which I really don’t feel like I should have needed to do after buying a premium 16-inch laptop. I’ve owned other 15- and 16-inch laptops that made better use of the available keyboard space, so this is one design decision that genuinely frustrates me. The trackpad, on the other hand, is HUGE. Some people will probably love that, but personally, I would have happily sacrificed some of that trackpad space for a wider, more spacious keyboard and built-in number pad. None of this makes the laptop uncomfortable enough that I don’t enjoy using it, but the keyboard layout is significant enough to me that I have to take points off the overall design. I did have some frustration during the initial setup. The laptop stalled several times and I had to force it to shut down twice while trying to get through the Windows/Microsoft account setup. Eventually it went into automatic repair, and after that the computer began running much more smoothly. Thankfully, that seems to have been more of an initial setup issue than an ongoing problem, because I haven’t continued to experience those issues during normal use. Overall, the things I like about this laptop greatly outweigh the things I don’t. I wanted something powerful with a large, beautiful screen that was still lightweight and portable enough for me to carry around regularly, and this checks those boxes extremely well. I’ve even ended up loving features I didn’t originally care about, like the touchscreen, and discovering GlideX made the laptop even more useful with devices I already own. The keyboard layout and lack of a number pad are easily my biggest complaints, and I think ASUS could have made much better use of the space available on a 16-inch laptop. Still, they aren’t enough to outweigh everything else I enjoy about it. After a little over a month with it, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. And despite my complaints about that keyboard, I still cannot get over how good this laptop looks in Zabriskie Beige.
Amazing - Beyond Incredible, fast and efficient, lightweight
What ultraportables should have been all along - I've had this for about a month now as my main machine going into college, and it has held up better than I expected, and I expected a lot going in. The Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is the real story here. I do a fair amount of CPU-heavy work, and it simply doesn't slow down. Video encoding in particular was noticeably faster than the x86 laptops I compared it against before buying. The 48GB of RAM and the memory bandwidth make multitasking a non-issue. What actually sold me, though, is how little performance you lose on battery. Most x86 laptops lose 30 to 50 percent off the charger. This barely moves thanks to the incredible efficiency of ARM chips and the latest Qualcomm advancements. The weight is the other thing you can't truly understand until you feel it. 2.65 pounds in a 16 inch body is legitimately remarkable. It weighs the same or less than comparable 13 inch laptops like the Dell XPS 13. Carrying it around campus all day (even with the included 140w USB-C charger) I don't notice it in my bag at all. The screen is a 3K OLED and it's exactly as good as that sounds: bright, sharp, and equally suited to work and media. Six speakers on something this thin is unexpected and makes a real difference for that media consumption, but I wouldn't say they have standout performance. The Zephyrus G16 and most MacBooks still beat it out, but that isn't really the purpose of the machine. Pros: CPU-heavy tasks like video encoding run noticeably faster than comparable x86 laptops Battery performance barely dips when unplugged 2.65 pounds in a 16 inch body, remarkably light for the screen size 3K OLED display is bright and sharp for both work and media Six speaker audio system stands out for something this thin 48GB RAM and strong memory bandwidth make multitasking effortless Cons: No dedicated GPU, so it's not built for gaming or 3D rendering Bezels feel like a slight step down in material quality compared to the Ceraluminum chassis For coursework, writing, research, and everyday computing with real power under the hood, it has been excellent.
ok latptop - Be cautious if you are buying open box. Best buy mentioned condition as excellent but was quite dirty with smudges all around on screen and trackpad that i had to sanitize it with wipes. The keyboard had more dust then my two year old other laptop I use. further the product was registered by previous person so now it does not allow me to register when I click the register option in myAsus. So geek squad did nothing as against advertisement that they make sure its back to original condition etc. Further when could not register, thought to dig about the warranty in that case and found out (google gemini) that Asus gives only 90 days warranty for open box. so be cautious and aware of that. my previous experience of purchase of macbook air open box excellent was good so thought to try it out again, but looks like its more of a lottery and cant rely on condition mentioned by bestbuy. Even though not happy with Bestbuy fooling me saying excellent condition and one year manufacturer warranty, the review is supposed to be about the product and here it goes - performance is ok ok. don't get fooled by so many reviewers trying to compare with m4 and intels. those geekbech scores means nothing for a user, whose main usage is emails, MS office applications and normal web browsing. - Just plain web browsing seems to be a slightly sluggish compared to my decade old intel laptop whose replacement this is supposed to be. does not matter if there is great cpu with all the benchmark scores and power savings etc. one can argue to adjust the power options or some other settings bla bla but as an average user (my wife) it needs to just work without need to go to great lengths about doing a phd on the subject. my macbook air simply breezes through the web browsing without ever needing a look at power settings. - battery life good (compared to old laptops). last for a day (lesser then advertised) with my wife using it just for browsing and doing online shopping, email etc. we have to charge every day but I was hopping to charge once a 2-3 days given the usage is just web browsing intermittently for some hrs during the day. (compared to my air which goes on for 2-3 days if i just use for browsing) - it was working ok until came the updates. immediately after update the crashes started. it simply goes blank and then starts again. as soon as i launch the browser it crashes again and again in endless loop. i did then a force/hard restart (assuming the regular restarts are some kind of quick ones) then it stabilizes for some time but again when launched the web browser and start to open few pages after some hrs it crashed again. aren't update supposed to make it better and stable instead of crashing it. Now i am always afraid thinking when next crash would occur in middle of a online purchase checkout. - I really doubt whether all those reviewers out there (watching whom i bought this laptop), really do use these machines. not all of us are you tubers and need video editing on which most reviews seems to be focused on and some processor scores. how come non of these reviewers have 5-10 tabs open and didn't face crashes after few hrs of usage? - i suspect best buy intentionally blocked regular buyers from adding reviews until it was sold out. because you don't find any reviewers mentioning the crashes etc. and I cant believe its only me who encountered it. Note the option to add review was not available untill after the laptop was sold out.
Fast. Like mac book for window laptop - If you need long battery time then, get this one. If you need fast booting and waking up, then get this one
Not a computer made for a business. - It's not compatible with latest versions of software, I won't recommend this product if you are using multiples software.
Leading class performance. - Great performance for the price. Definitely punching above its weight class. Great multi tasking for work and doesn’t bog down performance.Display is very nice and the battery outlasting a days work on it. I’ve gone 3 days before plugging it in, using it a few hours of work a day.
Glitchy keyboard & Issues w/regular apps - Had to buy a wireless keyboard & mouse. Issues w/saving file extensions ie .pdf. Glitchy system. Beautiful display and fairly quick processing.
Really good laptop - Laptop is very quick, gets through pretty much anything I throw at it with a breeze. The display is beautiful and great battery life
Speed to burn - This replaced a Toshiba unit that never was speedy, but this laptop flies. I know I went higher end, but this laptop will be used for 10+ and seems to be able to grow with AI.
Robbed - So bought the laptop and returned it unopened and sent it back and 10 days later i still haven't received my money and i get an opened package sent back saying wrong laptop which is highly sus so someone stole it and i have made police report so where is my money I'm tired of yall trying to screw me
