CORSAIR – VIRTUOSO PRO Open Back Wired Gaming Headset for PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch, and Mobile – Carbon

You can hear things. - I love Corsair products, but this one really disappointed me... Audio from headset and audio from the mic are both pretty bad. Buy the wireless version if you want an enjoyable experience, I would recommend the wireless one.

Worth it - It is cheap reliable and works really well for online gaming voice chat!

Good muffs - These feel, look, and sound great. Love them and don’t make my ears too hot

Wonderful - Extremely high quality headset when using connected to a microphone. The headset mic can pic up the cord scratching on your shirt when using as it is braided

Ear phones - Good product that meets expectations doesnt hurt to

Great headset for gaming!! - Great build and audio quality!! Use it on my xbox and I have no problems at all. Wish it didn't have the y connector to both headphones but that is a small detail. Even used to listen to music off my record player and that was an amazing experience.

Best I have ever gotten. - Very confutable for long gaming sessions. Sounds crispy and loud.

These headphones are awesome! - Everything worked out great! The shipping was fast, efficient and came with no problems!

Corsair - Comfortable, great sound quality, great weight. Couldn’t complain about these! Definitely my favorite headset to date.

Awesome for me - I personally love these so much but some gamers might not prefer them because the cords come out of both sides of the ears. The mic snaps in but its not the best desingn. I love the open back and the sound is amazing. They are so comfortable and good looking.

Best headphones - Overall really great pair i like how they come in with a case to store them in good for gaming too

Well made headset. - Good audio, good microphone. I have bigger ears so the larger ear muffs work nicely for me, and I’ve found the weight isn’t too much of an issue. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a smaller head.

Great Headphones - The Headphones sound better than the Beyedynamic DT990s and are regularly cheaper than them.

Great wired headset for work and gaming - Excellent sound quality and the mic is really good quality too. Perfect for working from home all day and gaming with friends at night. Cord is nice and long and overall build quality seems like it will last a while. Ear cushions are nice and breathable and not made of that "leather" that falls apart after a year.

Loud and clear - It’s a good design with the pass through hearing. The ability to hear the crisp sound of music/videos along with ambient sounds is good. The classic wire to each speaker is nostalgic but a bit unnecessary

Focused Gaming Audio, Basic Features - Build and Comfort: It's built well. Uses metal and decent plastic, feels sturdy. The cloth padding is soft. Comes with a good hard case. Comfort is fine for shorter periods, but the clamping force is noticeable after an hour or two, especially if you wear glasses. Earcups could be deeper; ears might touch the inside. Sound Performance: For gaming, the open-back design provides a very wide soundstage and excellent directional audio. Locating sounds like footsteps in competitive games is a clear strength. Mid-range sounds are clear, making dialogue easy to understand. However, the bass lacks deep impact – explosions sound weak. Treble is somewhat muted, so some high-frequency details can be lost. Sound is consistent regardless of fit. Microphone: The microphone quality is very good. Voice transmission is clear and detailed. It handles background noise reasonably well. Being attached to the cable is functional, though less convenient than an integrated mic. Downsides: Isolation: It's open-back, so noise isolation is minimal. You'll hear your surroundings clearly. Leakage: It leaks a lot of sound. Not suitable for quiet shared environments. Controls: This is poor. There's only a mute switch on the cable with no indication if it's active. There is no volume control on the headset or cable. Software: No software support for EQ or other adjustments. Value at $199: At this price, you're paying for the specific benefits of an open-back design for gaming (soundstage, imaging) and the high-quality microphone. The build quality is also a factor. However, the lack of basic features like volume control, poor isolation/leakage (inherent to the design), and potential long-term comfort issues make the value questionable for many. Conclusion: The Virtuoso Pro is a specialized headset. It excels at positional audio for gaming in quiet environments and has a great mic. If those are your absolute top priorities and you accept the significant drawbacks (no isolation, high leakage, terrible controls, no EQ), then it might fit your needs. For general use or if you need more features, the $199 price is hard to justify compared to other options offering more versatility.

Awesome headset for the money - You get every dollar worth with this headset the sound quality is amazing i use the sonar app with this headset and its just amazing its great for anything from music to video games to just watching videos.

Returned - Biggest reason, no mute button. With kids, wife, dogs, i need that.

Great for a set up! - This headset still stands out with its quality even though it doesn’t have surround sound. I will say that my main plus about this product is the open back feature that makes it feel like the sides of your face can still breathe. I definitely recommend!

Amazing - Best headset ive ever had hands down. Would buy again
