APC – UPS Battery Backup, 450VA/255W, Tower/Wall Mount, 6 Outlets, LED Indicator – Black

Great ups - The only issue I have with this ups is when I am sleeping and it beeps it wakes me up... But I don't count that as a flaw as I do want to know when I'm running on battery. Other then that is a great ups.

Easy to use, good price ! - I have this on my house phones and cable modem, its nice to keep talking on house phone , and keeps the modem up when we have power failures and the generator isnt fast enough. Also I love the spacing of the outlets, so you can plug in even the chunky or extra wide power cords !

Perfect for my entertainment center. - We recently have had problems with unclean power and surges resetting my Monster Cable HTS 1600. I had picked it up when Circuit City was going out of business in 2009 for a great deal. It served me well, however I have an HTPC now and wanted the redundancy of surge protection with a battery back up. This will allow me plenty of time for a proper shutdown in the event of total power loss. I have APC's larger 1350 and 1500 for my other essential electronics and have always been happy with their performance. In the past five years we have suffered from 2 lightning strikes and APC's products have protected all of our high dollar items. This smaller model may not have the digital readouts as their other models, but it is hidden behind my TV anyway and does not require monitoring. My entertainment center consists of a 55" OLED, 270 Watt soundbar and subwoofer, HTPC, Philips Hue smart lights, and a 4K Firestick. So it provides plenty of outlets for this type of setup. FYI: After charging the backup for 24hrs without anything plugged into it I hooked everything up and powered it on. There was a hum from the backup for about 12hrs after while I imagine it was getting used to the load while still charging and maintaining the battery. This hum has since disappear or at least gone to a decibel that it is not noticeable. Overall very happy with the performance so far. If you get one remember to register it to get your warranty coverage.

Nice small UPS - This UPS was easy to setup and works great for my purpose.

Always good - Always does a good job and protects important hardware.

Does the job! - These newer APC units take up less floor space than the older ES models. We bought another one recently.

Pass on This - This is a grossly inferior product to its competitor Goldenmate. Best Buy, I would recommend that you partner them instead.

Protect your electronics! - The one computer I did not have on a surge strip took a hit from some spike and wiped out the motherboard and the attached monitor. This has battery back up and surge protection so you computer just doesn't lose power.

Apc ups backup - Excellent, efficient, surge protection, good battery life

Useful & Effective - Purchased for home entertainment center (PlayStation, 65in TV, Streaming Box, etc...). Relatively quick to set-up and easy to operate. No issue safely shutting electronics off in power outage and starting back up after the fact. Only downside is the bulky design and having only 6 outlets, but for the price, it has served us well so far.

As advertised - Eliminates the problem of constant rebooting computers and routers etc. during electrical storms with power loss.

Perfect for my application . - Easy to install, perfect size, can wall mount, and can easily be hidden.

Works as advertised - No problems charging this item and plugging in the devices was as easy as one would expect. It sits on my desk showing its green light at all times.

Works well for the price, would recommend to anyone looking to protect their equiment

Safety to leave your business - When you keep live fish and worms alive you can go out and not worry about power outages.

simple UPS battery backup - This is a really good product and is perfect, so I am really enjoying it.

It works as needed - Plugged it in, hooked it up, worked when the electricity went out, just as it need to. Did its job!

works well - Helps with the battery backup for my small architecture firm

Great choice - It was a great choice to protect my home office computer.

Awsome price. everything I need it to do. - I like the smaller size it tucks back behind everything and can't be seen. I got it to replace a similar backup that I have had for over 9 years. Quality and lasts long.
