Wrong item sent. (And it was filthy) - I received the wrong item. A later smart keyboard that won't work with an iPad 8th Gen. In addition it was filthy. I returned it a month ago using a Best Buy return label and have not yet received a refund. I am working with customer support on resolving this.

BAD PRODUCT - Very poor quality product! Barely compatible and works with my gen8 ipad. Not at all happy! First time a really bad experience with Bestbuy product in a long term relation of almost 5 years.

Simple Keyboard That "Just Works" - I'd used a Zagg folio/keyboard for a long time, but since it connected by Bluetooth, I needed to deal with when it connected, its charge level, and a lot of other things. When it finally stopped working (well after its warranty expired), I decided to go with something simpler. The Apple Smart Keyboard connects to the iPad through a set of electrical contacts on the bottom (as in the photo) of the iPad. It is powered by the iPad and doesn't need Bluetooth or anything else to connect to the iPad. It offers a full-function (no numeric keypad) in a footprint that fits the 10.5-inch diagonal size of the iPad. The keys aren't "clicky", but they do provide a bit of feedback. I'd like to see Apple adopt a keyboard layout that includes some extra keys, such as volume controls, but that's more of a suggestion than an issue. Overall this is a good choice for a basic iPad cover and simple keyboard. And its "refurbished" status has not been anything I've noticed - it works just like a brand-new keyboard.

OK - Sleek and functional but missing the pencil holder.

Frustrating feature - My last keyboard gave out, it was so frustrating to use. This referbished one so far, has a somewhat frustrating feature. Every time I start to type, I have to start the word, then hit shift, then space. After the initial shift and space, I can type ok.

Keys wear off - My only negative on this is the wearing off of used letters. I’ve had my current keyboard for two years and 8 keys are completely off. and 6 are wearing off. But, I just love it. Without it, I would not have an iPad.

Not worth buying refurbished - Worked fine for a few months then started doing weird things. I would not buy a refurbished one again.

Refurbished well-Apple Keyboard - Replaced a keyboard that was not apple with this refurbished Apple one. I have not had any problems or syncing issues. Very happy with purchase.
