SteelSeries – Apex 7 Full Size Wired Mechanical Red Linear Switch Gaming Keyboard with Rapid Tap – Black

NIce keyboard - Nice tactile switches not as noisy as the apex 5 I have used for years. Easy setup and use of the RGB over all well worth the price as the equivalent Corsair full size board.

SteelSeries Apex 7 Mechanical Keyboard - Definitely the best keyboard I've owned! SteelSeries will always be my go to brand!

High quality mechanical keyboard - From a membrane keyboard to this mechanical masterpiece... very happy

Delivered? Not. - I purchased this item to but the UPS didn’t deliver it to me? I know this product is solid but delivery choice isn’t.

Overall Great, with one caveat - [Employee of bestbuy] The build quality, awesome; the oled on the corner, awesome; the rgb/macro customization, awesome!!! The only reason I returned it was because of the switches, very much personal preference. Coming from a membrane keyboard, I was a bit heavy-handed resting on the keys and i would accidently press them. The other thing is that they are LOUD! Again, coming from membrane, i was hoping for something much quieter so the noise from bottoming out and coming back up was too loud for my nocturnal gaming patterns. I switched keyboards to the be quiet! Dark Mount keyboard and it’s been mostly great. The silent tactile keeps me from pressing keys accidently and keeps it quiet at night.

SteelSeries-Apex 7 - The vibrancy of the colors are great! So many options to personalize this keyboard.

Perfect - Amazing keyboard with the perfect customization as well as sound.

A Gamer’s Dream Keyboard: Smooth, Responsive, and - I’ve been on the hunt for a truly exceptional gaming keyboard, and the SteelSeries Apex 7 has more than delivered. Right out of the box, the quality is immediately evident. The red linear mechanical switches feel incredibly smooth—no tactile bump, just a crisp and quiet press every time. Whether I’m navigating intense multiplayer matches or typing lengthy reports, every keystroke feels lightning-fast and effortless. The vibrant RGB backlighting is customizable down to the finest detail, allowing me to create the perfect atmosphere for late-night sessions. Plus, the sleek black design looks fantastic on my desk, effortlessly blending into my gaming setup. The included magnetic wrist rest is a standout feature, offering comfort that helps me push through extended gameplay without strain. The intuitive media controls and programmable macro keys make adjusting audio or switching between profiles incredibly convenient. After experiencing the Apex 7, I can’t imagine going back to a non-mechanical keyboard. If you’re looking to elevate your gaming experience, this keyboard is a must-have.

Great keyboard for gaming - Ideal keyboard for gaming and every day use. Aesthetical, a good looking keyboard.

Love it. - I love my keyboard. I can customize the RGB and the LED screen. It’s funny sometimes because you can make it animated. I have Baby today sipping some tea.

Good keyboard - Good quality mechanical keyboard. Seems slightly smaller than the Corsair full sized keyboard that it replaced. The magnetic attached wrist rest is a nice touch. Using it with a docked laptop, so wish it had a dedicated power/sleep key.

Really Nice Keyboard - Really cool and customizable. The keys and lighting are very nice with a really cool and customizable litlle oled screen. Really great keyboard

Nope, lost a 30+ year customer - It deserves a 5* but Best Buy gets a 1* due to it's new reward policy. I recommend the product but just not buying from "Best" Buy. No longer do you get BB points for purchasing items. You have to use BB credit card now. for points. Oh, and member status? You have to PAY to be a member with real benefits. It used to be based on how much you spent at BB. There IS NO incentive now to buy only from BB. I will only buy online from them if the price is significantly lower (doubtful that will be the case) than Amazon, etc. BB lost a 30+ year customer.

Great - Awesome. Best keyboard I’ve had for not only gaming but also working from home.

Worth it - The feel of the keyboard is very comfortable. The hand stand at the end of the keyboard helps a lot and supports my wrist while I game. The addition of the tiny customizable screen is great!

Keyboard 5/5 - Very good keyboard, rgb are vibrant, keys sound good.

Highly Recommend - Great keyboard for someone that’s brand new to the world of mechanical keyboards!

Nice keyboard - Nicely built, aluminum frame, rgb is great and is easily controlled without software. A little gimmicky though, dedicated media buttons would be more useful than a small, b&w oled screen.

Christmas gift - My boyfriend absolutely loved it, i want to get one myself now
