Apple – Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter – White

Works as expected but pricey - Needed this in an emergency. Works as described, just wish it was cheaper.

Another "open box" success! - I've had great success purchasing open box items at BestBuy. This thunderbolt 3 to 2 adaptor arrived in pristine condition and in perfect working condition - only the packaging indicated it wasn't brand new. My thunderbolt 2 audio interface is still in perfect working condition and rather than spend thousands of dollars on a newer model, it was a no-brainer to use an adaptor to connect it to my Apple M3 MacBook Pro. I've learned that third party adaptors don't always play nice with Apple hardware but that means paying the Apple branded premium. Thanks to this open box offering, I was able to save about 25% off the new cost. Thanks, BestBuy!

Works great - Great product works great for what I need it for was able to connect to my computer to help me connect my 27inch Cinema Display

Works great - Compatible with macbook to thunderbolt displays, works well with that

Thunderbolt 3 - Was intended as connector from mini Mac to Mac desktop. But did not work.

Excellent Apple Quality and Flawless Performance - I purchased the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter to connect my existing Thunderbolt 2 devices to my newer Mac, and it has worked exactly as expected. Setup was effortless; just plug it in and it works without any drivers or complicated configuration. The build quality is excellent, just like every Apple accessory I’ve owned. The connection is stable, data transfer is fast, and I’ve experienced no dropouts or compatibility issues. It’s a simple product, but it does its job reliably and gives new life to older Thunderbolt devices without needing to replace expensive equipment. If you’re transitioning to a newer Mac but still rely on Thunderbolt 2 peripherals, this adapter is definitely worth having. Highly recommended for its reliability, quality, and seamless performance.

BEST BUY - PERFECT came quick and with no damages i will buy again

wrong advice - This was not the product needed to connect an old IMAC to a new one. It was bought at the advice of store personnel

works perfect - amazing product, easy to use and setup. I reaaly recommend.

Thunderbolt adapter - Great product, works as expected. And buying it open box saved a few bucks.

Does ecactly what it's supposed to with no issues - I have older peripherals that arent compatible with Thunderbolt 3. This adapter works perfect to make them compatible.

Exactly what you need at the most critical moment - Worked perfectly to get my old thunderbolt apple display working on a brand new Mac mini. Reliable.

Exactly what I needed! - Staff helped me find it quickly and it was in stock!

As needed - Apple warns about using off brand devices especially things that deal with power as they could disrupt sensitive electronics. Thankfully, Best Buy came through in finding this modulator as it is becoming scarce.

Perfect - Works great for my older Apple Thunderbolt Display, able to connect to my newer Apple M series products no problem.

Charger - I really need a converted part for my charger and Best Buy didn’t have it in stock, but shipped it fast.

It works! - It's the original Apple Thunderbolt converter, and it works flawless like it should. I'm glad these are still available, because TB2 cables are getting scarce these days, and I have a lot of professional audio gear that uses TB2 connections. Get your spares while you still can!

Still Needed in 2026! - Needed it for a Mid-2015 MacBook Pro 15 Retina, thankful my local BestBuy had 2 in stock, both open-box so got a discount! Love having a local BestBuy!

Looked brand new - Works perfectly, came in original packaging and looked new.

Great product! - Accurate description, convenient pickup! Thank you Best Buy!
