Fun Dragon Quest Game - I had a blast with this game from start to finish. If you are a fan of JRPGs you’ll love this game

Better than I remember!! - Highly recommend picking up this game if you love the old school JRPG’s, or if you just love JRPG’s in general!

Not the best but not the weirdest either - It’s fun enough but maybe a little too much childish activity for someone that doesn’t have nostalgia for the series.

An OK Dragon Quest game to me - A little too childish compared to xi in my opinion, with very bland companions, but ultimately it was still enjoyable.

Love this redone old school rpg - New games are great but still nice when get old games modernized well like this.

Reembark on a epic journey - This adaptation of a old game hits the mark. There is some cut content from the last release. but it isnt a big issue.

Dragon quest! - Amazing visuals, gameplay is changed from the original (its a bit more modern) but again its a good game specially for those who are fans and can get the experience now on better consoles.

Great remake of an excellent jrpg. - Great game, I've been a fan of Dragon Quest since the original and have yet to be disappointed by the series.

Great remake. - Was hesitant to buy because I have the 3DS version but glad I did. More user friendly as my handheld days are basically over.

Love letter to DQ - A strong modernized remake that generally improves the classic but still isn’t perfect. It preserves the chunky turn-based JRPG fundamentals and time-traveling island quests that made the original memorable while updating visuals, pacing, and accessibility for today’s players. Critics have given it a generally favorable aggregate score (around low-to-mid 80s) with praise for its charming diorama art style, refined combat quality-of-life features (like quicker battles and clearer enemy weaknesses), and a more streamlined story flow compared with the unwieldy original.

Great addition - I loved it, streamlined for players like me that beat it on the ps1 and 3ds. Definitely worth the time and platinum trophy. Except for getting the last two items on the matching mini game.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined - By far the most enjoyable rpg I’ve played in a while. A good 60-80 hour experience that looks beautiful. We need more games like this to be given a modern experience.

Reimagined excelling your dreams - I hardly review anything BUT this game delivered on that promise of being Reimagined. I also never give anything (hardly) a 5/5 score because something can always be improved on but this game is a solid 4.5 for me! Stayed true to the classic but also improved upon it exponentially. I’ve put so many hours into the game all ready. The graphics are beautifully done, cutscenes are *chef kiss* and love the voice acting. Being able to speed battles up is HUGE! If you know, you know. Older titles are great and classics but those animation times…

Improved in most ways! - The perfect cozy JRPG with tons of quality-of-life features... the story is a little disjointed, basically due to the inherent nature of the game, but otherwise this looks great and is polished to perfection. A much better (IMO) iteration of the classic.

Dragon quest 7 Reimagine - Great game. Love all the games in the series. Delivery sucked though I didn't get it till a week after it came out even though I preordered it

Beautiful upgrade - The aesthetics in this remake/remaster are phenominal. Voiceovers are excellent as well. The definitive Dragon Quest VII experience.
