Perfect witless headset - Amazing audio and really comfy, would recommend to a person who plays for long period of times
Defective Headset, Frustrating Warranty Process - Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this headset based on my experience. The 2.4 GHz wireless connection was defective and would repeatedly cut out and reconnect, accompanied by constant beeping. The frustrating part was that the headset worked normally when connected to the controller with the aux cable, which initially made it difficult to determine whether the problem was actually the headset, my PS5, or wireless interference. I spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting the issue. I reset the headset, updated its firmware through SteelSeries GG, re-paired the wireless dongle, tested different USB ports, tested it with other devices, and ultimately even experienced the same problem with a brand-new PS5. I eventually brought the headset and dongle to Best Buy Geek Squad, where an employee independently reproduced the wireless problem on their equipment, confirming that the issue was with the SteelSeries hardware. By the time I had definitively isolated the problem, however, Best Buy’s return window had expired. Best Buy would not exchange or return the defective headset because I had not purchased a protection plan and directed me to the manufacturer’s warranty instead. I understand that Best Buy has a return policy, but this was particularly disappointing because the headset’s wired functionality had initially masked the wireless defect and Geek Squad was able to verify the problem themselves. Unfortunately, my experience with the SteelSeries warranty process wasn’t much better. SteelSeries approved an RMA described as “Nova 7P Gen 2 USB-C Dongle.” I interpreted that as referring to the Nova 7P Gen 2 headset and its USB-C wireless dongle, rather than realizing that only the dongle was being replaced. The subsequent approval told me that I did not need to return the defective device and specifically encouraged me to recycle the defective product at an electronics recycling facility. Based on my understanding of those instructions, I recycled the headset. I later discovered that SteelSeries intended to replace only the dongle. Because I no longer had the headset, SteelSeries declined to provide further warranty service or replace the complete unit. I escalated the situation to a Product Support Manager, but the only additional accommodation offered was a 15% coupon toward another SteelSeries purchase. I acknowledge that I misunderstood the RMA description, but I believe a component-only warranty replacement—especially one accompanied by instructions about recycling defective hardware—should explicitly tell the customer what is being replaced, what must be retained, and exactly what can be recycled. Ultimately, I purchased a $200 headset that had a wireless defect, Best Buy’s return period expired while I was trying to diagnose a problem partially masked by the working wired connection, and the manufacturer’s confusing RMA process left me without a usable headset. That’s not an experience I’d be willing to repeat with another SteelSeries product.
Perfect gaming headphones - I had the previous model and somehow these are a little smaller a little lighter and cooler looking with better Mike and audio quality
It’s good not worth $200 tho - It has good sound and even it’s own whole sound drivers for pc that you can tune to your game, and the software even clips in game “eliminations”. Where it’s not worth $200 is that mic they put a really cheap mic on here. Like it sounds like the good ole ps3 and Xbox360 days.
Really nice headset! - This headset is absolutely phenomenal! The audio is pristine!
Good quality - It’s good quality. Updating the firmware and everything is a bit complicated if you have a Mac. And that is quite frustrating
Amazing - Sound quality is the best I’ve ever had and the headset is very durable and comfortable. The battery life lasts for days without charging. 10/10 product definitely recommend.
Upgrade over previous SteelSeries headset - I have the Arctis 7+ headset, which is a fine headset. I upgraded to this headset because of the ability to better set the microphone discrimination. From the app, it is really easy to set headset to just pass voice without background noises.
Amazing sound quality - I’m a very heavy Call of Duty® player and when I say this is the best headset I’ve ever owned it truly is the best headset I’ve ever owned. I can hear enemies in every direction. It’s not very hard to track anybody. It is very well worth the money.
Ordered open box-Great condition - I ordered my SteelSeries open box for the cheaper price and was very surprised to see the headset in great shape. No signs of wear besides the packaging itself.
Best quality - Best headphones i have owned. Been through Turtle Beach a few times.
Replace your headset with STEEL SERIES - I absolutely love this headset. From the fit to the customization. Is fantastic… I’ve had many competitors as well and by far I’ve enjoyed these the most. I absolutely appreciate all the connection wires also. Makes it so easy for gaming.
Quality Upgrade the Design and Audio Improvements - I’m really pleased with the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7P Wireless Gen 2. This is the model I’ve been waiting for, and the overall quality definitely shows. SteelSeries kept the same clean design while improving the build and audio, which I really appreciate. The sound is excellent, and the comfort is exactly what I expect from SteelSeries. The Companion App is a huge plus being able to select game‑specific EQ presets makes a noticeable difference, and it’s super convenient. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the dongle. I was disappointed that the PlayStation version didn’t use the side‑mounted dongle design from the Nova 3P. Also, the wireless connection sometimes feels like it’s about to lag or drop, even when I’m in the same room. I’m not sure if this is something SteelSeries can fix with a firmware update or if it’s just how this model behaves. To be clear, this is with the dongle not Bluetooth to my phone. Other than that, I’m really satisfied with the headset. It’s a great upgrade and absolutely worth it.
SteelSeries Arcticis Nova 7P Gen 2 - The Best Gaming Headset I have ever owned!! I will be sticking with this brand from now on!!
Annoying to use - This headset is great when it works. Unfortunately it consistently fails to start up and requires a hard reset to turn on again. This wouldn't be a huge deal if it weren't for the fact that the way to hard reset these requires you to take off one of the ear pads, get a pin or some other thin pointy object and stick it into a small hole to press the hard reset button for 3 seconds. It is such a terrible design choice for something that I have to do this to at least once a week. Godawful headset, I would never recommend it to anyone.
Pro headset - Its amazing love the headset, super comfortable, and a good pro headset
Dual Simultaneous Audio is awesome - Ordered these because of the dual simultaneous audio. After a few nights of testing it out, it works great and the headphones are very comfortable. Battery life is top notch as well. Mic quality is 3.5/5 but great otherwise
I’d recommend this heads - Would recommend this headset it’s really good for gaming
Steel Series Arctis Nova Headset - Great quality product. Headset is light and comfortable.
Nice set - We had to exchange the first headset because of echoing. The second one we purchased seems to be working.
